Lovebugs cruise without paying.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sensation

After check-in we headed for lunch on the Lido deck which was surprisingly good. After eating we took a walk one deck above where we noticed a few flying bugs, then we discovered they had literally taken over and were everywhere. I inquired and was told they are lovebugs and its mating season. My response was why not embark elsewhere or exterminate or warn the guests. I found it ...

After reading all the negative things about this cruise, I was so nervous. But seriously, don't be! I am a firm believer that your trip is what you make it. Don't rely on others for your happiness. Go out and find it! The interior room was fine (bigger than Royal) be sure to post 'private' because our cleaners nearly got a show a few times. Haha oops! Food wasn't anything over the top, ...

This was our 6th Carnival cruise and 1st on the Sensation. Our only negative comments is that we felt the food service both in the main dinning room as well as on the Lido deck has definitely diminished compared to prior cruises. The evening entertainment was also not as it used to be. Overall entertainment was a bit disappointing. None the less the cruise was great. Excellent weather, ...

Not for British Families with Children Who Have Already Cruised Before

I am a brit, travelling with children and was lucky enough to be able to compare it to the larger ships and other companies like Royal Caribbean. If this is your first cruise, I'm sure you would enjoy it more than we did. It was not half as good as any previous cruises and i will not travel with Carnival again. Personally i should have paid the extra and gone on Royal Caribbean. ...

Show was the Best

Wonderful time. Food on Lido deck was good. Turkey wraps were the best. Fantasy dining room food was aweful and not done. Lobster was good though. House keeping was good. Mat was an excellent entertainment man. The group Playlist Productions which consisted of 7 people were the best. Their shows is what made the cruise. I loved their singing and dancing performance. They were professional and very ...

Food was mediocre at best!

This was our first and last cruise with Carnival. The food was no better than eating at an Old Country Buffet. We thought eating in the dining room would be of better quality, but no, it was not. In fact, most nights what was served in the dining room was also in the buffet! The quality of the food was just plain terrible. The wait staff were excellent, but there is no making up for cheap food. My ...

The Sensation needs to be put out to pasture - Great Crew - Ship is FILTHY

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sensation

I am a Platinum traveler on Carnival with about 23 cruises under my belt. I have always enjoyed cruising on Carnival ships. (Also cruised Princess, NCL, RCL, Windjammer, Star Clippers and others.) Sensation was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. For example: Lido deck men's room. 1 of two stalls sealed (temporarily - for the entire cruise), one of the urinals covered in plastic. Strong odor of sewer within 40 ...

Let me start by saying that we (me, my husband and kids) have been on three Carnival Cruise ships. So I'm basing this experience off of those cruises. This one was by far the worst. Yes it was shorter than the others (they were each 7 nights) but that wasn't what we hated about it because truth be told, by the 4th to 5th night, I am tired of the same food, entertainment etc. First of all, we ...

Preparation, all the paperwork, was a lot to take care of. Hopefully, it will get easier. We bought a Fun Pass which was a good idea. Unfortunately, for our 2nd cruise there are non available. Our luggage came early and the cabin was ready by noon. Had lunch and a wonderful first cocktail. All that followed weren't as good, but expensive. The cabin was in a disappointing shape. Everything looked ...

I am a avid cruiser, and I just love Carnival. This ship was nice, had some 2.0 upgrades, Extremely nice staff. Great entertainment, and decent food. It wasn't overly crowded at all. the cruise ship was immaculate, and I had zero complaints. We ported into 2 different ports. Nassau and Freeport. This is what I thought about those ports. Nassau, was a lot nicer now than it has been in ...
