We sailed on the Sensation out of Miami on May 23. We arrived in Ft Lauderdale around 10:30 and took the shuttle over to Miami for embarkation. Not totally up on Uber or other more hip ways of transportation so went ahead and paid for the shuttle. Didn't do so until we were at the airport when we arrived since I thought I had it booked when checking in online. My bad but it all worked out. ...

This was my first cruise and I really enjoyed myself. every one was so nice, the food was good, I have nothing to complain about. we stayed on the Rivera deck. our cabin Stuart ( Robbie) was so sweet. the embarkation & disembarkation was smooth, I didn't want to leave. the story about there not being enough outlets or lighting in the cabin, I had no problem with.. there were night lights attached ...

Embarkation was great because we put down 11am to check in but showed up at 12:30. We skipped all the lines and went straight on board. The ship is dated in decor. There's only one pool, and by the end of the day after who knows how many people have been in it, it turns green and cloudy. I didn't step foot in it at all. My wife went into the hot tub but kids go in and out of it so it's not ...

We booked this cruise last minute as we were one of the parties cancelled on the Royal Empress of the Seas, we were cancelled for the second time, our first sailing was April 1th, So after already asking to swich vacation time at work, airline tickets and hotel could not change the dates. We traveled with another couple, late 50's no kids. We arrived at the port of miami at the designated time, ...

We were in Ocean view Cabin 203 on Riviera Deck. We went to Key West & Cozumel. Ship condition was good, older ship. We were pleased with space of cabin for 3 men. Food was okay. Stage shows were much better than expected. They used DJ heavily. Live music was not great and hardly around. Lido deck was entirely smoky because of Casino. TV stations much better then expected. Key West docked way ...

This is an old and outdated cruise with rude staff.

I booked this cruise for my daughter and I. I have been on a few other cruises and this one was the worst! When we walked onto the ship, you could immediately smell cigarette smoke and it also smelled very musty. This was true throughout the entire ship. We are not smokers and I understand that other people are. I only wished that the smoking areas were a little more closed in. The smoking areas ...

My hubby and I chose to go on this cruise for an early Wedding Anniversary gift. Celebrating 26 years! We had been on Royal Carribbean cruise 15 years ago. This was our first Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and wow! When we arrived at the airport we were greeted by friendly staff to direct us to the desk to check in for our airport transfer to the port. We were able to board fairly soon since we ...

My daughter, son-in-law & I booked this particular cruise as we wanted to take a short vacation together with their 2 year old & 8 month old. As platinum members of Carnival's VIFP club, our embarkation was smooth & relatively quick & that was very important traveling with the 2 little ones. We had booked a grand suite with an extended balcony. It was as large as I had hoped & accommodated all 5 ...

Sensation - Great Cruise

We choose this cruise because the dates coincided with our work/vacation schedules, and included Half Moon Cay which is just beautiful. We were a bit reluctant based on ship class, age of ship, and some recent negative reviews. However, we had an excellent time. We found this ship well cared for and clean, the service was superb, food was pretty good, and the hard working staff was friendly and ...

An AMAZING & FUN Adventure!

We were 1st time cruisers and didn't know what to expect. We had a blast! Mat the cruise director was a lot of fun (and Canadian too) while Floyd one of our waiters at dinner was so welcoming we couldn't wait to see him and share our day's adventures. Dinners and Sea Brunch were really good. The pizza on the Lido deck was thin crust and the best I've ever had. Our 13 year old daughter disappeared ...
