Picked this Cruise based on the price and the ports smaller ship than what I'm used. Night Time Entertainment was only good because we had two comedians on the ship every night and they made it worthwhile the evening dining room food was very good not impressed with the rest of the food throughout the ship the ports were great would have liked a little bit more time in Grand Turk leaving at 2:30 ...

The Best Time

I had the best time on the cruise ship. The cruise was really good. The shows were nice, the people were nice, the staff was great. Also I really liked the dj. My first cruise and I will remember this for a lifetime. My daughter went and she had a great time. I just wish she had a friend her age when she came. It was a family reunion and we took a lot of pictures. Everyone had a great time. But I ...

First I checked in at Miami International Airport so once at port went straight on ship. This was my first but definitely not last cruise experience. First let me say with this being our first cruise we weren't sure what to expect. I've read various reviews and can only speak to my experience. The Cruise Director: Matt, Assistant Cruise Director: Stephan, Cabin attendent: Jonathan, ...

Carnival Sensation: Miami - Nassau - Half Moon Cay - Grand Turk.

We did this same itinerary last winter on the Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston, and although the Sensation is basically the same ship, Sensation provided far better service, and overall experience than the Fantasy. We chose this cruise for 3 reasons: 1) Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk have great beaches to just lay back and relax, particularly Half Moon Cay which has the softest sand we've ever ...

Great Time with the Family

This was a family cruise of sixteen people. Our cabin was roomy, clean, cool and big enough for eight grandchildren to use as a focal point. The food was acceptable but below our previous experienced cruise. Our first carnival cruise was in 2001 on the Victory and was excellent. I rate this cruise from that one fifteen years ago. Food was better than McDonalds but not by much. In the formal dining ...

After going thru quite the ordeal just to get to our cruise we had a wonderful time. Half Moon Cay was a ton of fun and beautiful. All the activities on board kept us going the entire time we were on board. Matt our cruise director was great and we really enjoyed all the trivia nights. Just June was hilarious. The entire crew was pleasant and made you feel welcome. Nassau was interesting but we ...

This was my first cruise with the Carnival Cruise line. I had cruised 3 times before on Royal Caribbean and I can tell you it was a major difference. We were there to celebrate a friends birthday and it was 10 of us. I understood prior that this was an older and smaller ship. However, they didn't have to many entertaining things to do. They only had Bingo for 2 days and one of those days it was ...

The ship was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our interior cabin was comfortable and well kept. The girls (12 and 16) enjoyed their respective clubs, which gave my husband and I time alone. We all loved dinning at the Fantasy dinning room. And the food available on the Lido deck was pretty good too. The clubs for the girls kept them busy with board games, video games, movies, ...

Carnival has lost it.

This was our fourth time on a carnival cruise. Our last one was seven years ago and a lot has changed since then. One of the things you look forward to when you cruise is the food, and the dining room food was just horrendous. To start the selections were terrible, portions were tiny, and quality was cafeteria like. I know you can ask for more than one portion, but why? The sandwich shop and pizza ...

We went on a family trip in June. There was 15 of us and we stayed in 4 suites with the balcony's. The rooms were stunning and our housekeeper was AMAZING!!! His name was Lourd and I highly recommend him!!! The boat could use some updating and the food was OK!! The only thing we all said needed improvement was the dinning room. Our dinner time was 815 pm and we never got out until after 1030 ...
