Cuba was on our (husband and myself) list of places to see at least once. The trip was very good. I was a little skeptical at first because I was reading both negative and positive reviews about the ship (Paradise). I am happy to say that you should have no doubts on traveling on her. We had an Ocean View cabin and it was more than comfortable for my husband and myself. Our Stateroom Steward ...
Always wanted to go to Cuba, booked 6 months prior to Irma. When I left for Florida by car, cruise was in jeopardy of being cancelled. Carnival called when I was almost to Florida, they said Cuba was a go but Key West was off. Three days later as I boarded the ship, Key west was put back on. A lot of trash type damage in Key West along with numerous boats sunk and blown on to shore. The people ...
We choose this cruise on recommendation of our AAA agent. It was a wonderful experience we are glad we choose this ship because it was a smaller ship for our first experience. The CD Mat was so funny and our steward was the best his name was Jeamer. One of the servers on the lido deck was wonderful very attentive he never forgot what we were drinking and always try to make us feel special his name ...
We were looking for a cruise that was less than 7 days, and one that included a day-long stop in Key West, and the Paradise offered both. This was not our first cruise during hurricane season, but with so many powerful hurricanes being active the week before our cruise, pre-vacation stress level was pretty high! Under the circumstances, Carnival did a good job of posting updates and handling ...
The crew was fairly polite, but I got a huge bruise from from one of their doors closing on me and smashing into my back. I also had to walk past a wall with vomit on it everyday to get to my room. I only saw the cabin steward on the first day and never again. the staff at dinner were great but the food was terrible. I usually eat like it is my job on these things and the food on this trip was ...
We took this cruise to see Cuba. When we arrived at the dock a rep told us that Carnival was not sure if the Paradise would goto Cuba because of hurricane Irma. Many passengers stayed out waiting to see if the Paradise was going to Cuba or not. Our group of six headed onboard with only 1100 other cruisers. The ship sailed with less than half the normal capacity.
The Paradise ended up ...
I really feared the worst as the ship was older but to my pleasant surprise. It was clean, not moldy,or smoky. It had some of the best customer service ever. Our waiter, Waylon was great. Food was ok, it was the American table menu..so ..Fun time! I would take this ship again.
Cruiser Director was Jamie Dee. WOW she is wonderful , really enjoyed being with her.
We had a port hole cabin. ...
I choose Carnival Paradise to fulfil a bucket list destination..Cuba. We were so excited to go and invited two friends to enjoy the cruise with us. We are Platinum members and that helps with the embarkation. So all went well. Food and service was great. Our room was comfortable and cleaned well everyday. Best mattress we've slept on during our 41 cruises. We enjoyed the entertainment venues ...
As a family, we have been on 32 cruises, with 8 of those on Carnival. We have sailed on Holland America, Costa, Royal Caribbean, Princess and MSC. This cruise was a 5-day Western Caribbean Cruise departing from Tampa. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn Westshore. It was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. It is within walking distance from the International Mall and Total Wine and More. They offer ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Cuba! We were also celebrating my birthday. Embarkation was very easy. We thought the ship was very nice. Maybe it's not the newest or biggest, but it was great for us.
Cabin - We went with a family of 5 and we had an outside cabin. The room was adequately sized even for 5 of us! (We also have a small camper, though, so we are used to small ...
