This ROYAL CARIBBEAN VOYAGER OF THE SEAS 10 JULY 2015 HONG KONG cruise was appalling. From booking to disembarkation, it has been a terrible experience. We were conned and exploited.

Nobody at RCCL Hong Kong bothered to pick up the phone nor replied to emails. Nobody at the appointed travel agent understood cruising. The only communication you will get is’ We want your money.' ...

Our family sailed on Jul 10 - 18, 2015. It took us more than 4 hours for check in and got on board. The scheduled departure time was 6 p.m., but we were still in waiting lounge till 7:30 p.m., without any food or even water?! And the staff cannot provide any information on the progress / waiting time.
The ship was very crowd and have long queue everywhere....we need to queue up for an hour ...

After having read the reviews I was concerned that this cruise was going to be terrible however we were pleasantly surprised with many things. Ship presents beautifully - very clean and well decked out. Check in was quite quick even though they weren't ready for us when we arrived (early) took less than an hour from check in to being in our cabin. This probably was the most disappointed RCC cruise I have been on. We sailed on May 14-23, 2015 from Yokohama to tianjin. The embarkation was not exactly at the Yokohama terminal. We have to bus across town to board the boat. The entrance has no sign where to drop off our luggage to be transferred to the boat. We ended up dragging all our luggage all the way on board the ship.
