The room junior suite was large and spacious. (room 9618). Our bathroom had a weird black stain in the toilet and a musty smell. Room steward was nice but said he could only use bleach to get rid of it and they weren't allowed to use bleach. The room was not cleaned very well the whole trip.
The buffet in the Windjammer is big and loaded with lot of different food but almost none of the ...
Ship is massive, and found lifts were very slow. Use stairs if possible. All activities were outstanding. The wave rider, mini putt putt, and climbing wall in peak times can be a long wait but well worth it. Has 2 pools and if you like quietness use the solarium pool. No kids in pool rule can make it very peaceful. Be warned on the starboard side of main pool is a smokers area and if your not a ...
We just done the 8 night cruise to Queensland/Whitsundays. Embarking was super easy. We went on board to have lunch, went to the Windjammer restaurant, lots of quality fresh food, seating was a problem at times as all the tables were full at peak so you had to come back later on.
A huge ship, she is showing signs of aging but they appear to keep it all well maintained. There were 3900 people ...

We are experienced RCCL cruisers and booked only 1 month before sailing, unable to resist a bargain. Given the low price, our expectations were quite low. Nonetheless things got off to a very shaky start. We had achieved Diamond status almost 12 months earlier and when the cruise documentation was issued it had not updated our status. We made numerous calls to our agent, RCI, Crown & Anchor ...
We took this cruise mainly to experience the ship not so much for the destination. We booked an Owners Suite and with the perks of a gold sea pass it was worth the extra money. 7 days wasn't enough time to really have an experience of every bar, restaurant or activity, there was just so much to do and see.
The staff was extremely warm and helpful, there was always someone around to ask for ...
Voyager was sailing out of Circular Quay, which is really beautiful spot between the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We drove up the morning of the cruise, parked at my BIL’s house and caught the train about 15 minutes to circular quay station. It’s a 5 minute walk to the ship from here. We arrived about 2pm and it was not too crowded at the terminal. We’re platinum so were able to go in expedited ...
This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean, being a celebration of my 85th birthday. In all, some 27 persons were in our group. All but one of my offspring and family!. Altogether, we had 5 generations in our party. This trip was also a celebration of the birthday of the youngest member, who was 2 yrs old during the voyage.
Our party came from both Queensland and NSW, And thus had ...
Embarkation was chaotic not helped by the fact that everyone seemed to arrive at the same time.
Whilst it was not school holidays you would not have known that on this cruise. There must have been hundreds of kids from pre-schoolers to teenagers represented. Of course its great to see so many families enjoying a holiday together. But as the cruise progressed the kids' behaviour became ...
