Let me start with this: the cruise wasn't terrible, just nowhere near the standard I expected from RCL.
We've previously sailed with Carnival - which cost us much, much less with a much higher, friendlier standard of service - but we were prepared to pay the extra for RCL for what we thought was going to be the "next-step up" in cruising experience. We were wrong.

We arrived in Sydney a few days earlier, and stayed in Darling Harbour. Sydney Harbour is really beautiful, and we took an afternoon "Tall Ship" cruise, which was fantastic. There is lots to do in and around Darling Harbour, with lots of nice restaurants and shops. Well worth a visit if you have the time.
