First impressions were good. Check in and boarding were painless and quick. We found our state rooms easily and left our hand luggage.
State rooms were surprisingly spacious, with space under the bed to adequately accommodate suitcase and two roll on cases. Wardrobe easily took our clothes, and had plenty of hangers.
However found the bathrooms lack of toiletries irritating....in fact on use ...
We chose this cruise as a follow up to a Caribbean cruise we took about a year ago with another cruise line. That cruise was a major hit with our two children and this prompted us to go on another cruise with them in a different part of the world. Relatively this was cruise was a major disappointment with respect to the activities for the children- which were non-existent in their respective age ...
The Foods served is quite average but customer services super.

Appreciate Ms Pan Lulu and one gentleman (didn't get his name - Philipino or Indonesian)
Both are courteous and providing excellent customer services to make us comfortable though the menu/foods can be better. They offer to change plate of ...

We had heard great reviews of the cruise but started to wonder when we received email reminders about boarding time without any indication of where to board. Also, the different email reminders quoted different closing times for boarding ranging from 2.30 to 3.30 pm. As I was working till 1 pm that day, the confusing information was rather unhelpful.
Fortunately, onboard service proved to be ...
We were coming back from a 2 week stay in Nepal, and the timing of the cruise out of Singapore was perfect. In addition, my wife and I always wanted to do a Asian cruise. this was our 9th Royal Caribbean cruise, and 3rd cruise on Mariner of the Seas.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, and the fact that it was a majority Chinese clientele made the cruise even more enjoyable, although the ...
It was our first time cruising (my parents and myself), so this was an eye opener with a lot of firsts.
We were impressed with the organisation - we didn't get stuck in any big delays / any queues were handled really quickly. We had priority check in so that may have helped.
The room (Junior Suite) was large - the balcony was beautiful and I'm glad we didn't try to save on that. One gripe - ...
We boarded Mariner of the Seas at Singapore - staying on Deck 3 our embarkation time was scheduled to be 2pm, but as we had to check out of our hotel by 1pm we went straight to the pier. It took around 30 mins from start to finish for the check in, immigration and boarding - not bad! We thought the queues would be worse...
When we got on board, our cabin was ready so we put down our bags and ...
We were a team of 6: a 9mth old, a 6yr old, a senior on wheelchair (limited mobility), 3 adults.
FLOOR DIRECTORY/ FACILITIES
There was a touch screen floor directory on near the elevators, but we wished these floor directory were available on the printed daily newsletter, or inside the room so we could plan movements around the vessel better to catch all activities. A printed tv channel ...
This cruise was put on offer as all inclusive and at an acceptable price, and it was visiting Asia. We found that the boarding setup, the staff, the cabin, the tours, the food and the ship in general was what one would expect.
We were advised that the ship was setup for the Chinese and we accepted that part of the cruise. We were pleased that there were also many Australians on board.
We ...
