Has kettle for tea and coffee making in room. No fridge, (some cabins have fridges apparently.) Fairly comfortable.
Connecting room so only one lounge chair. My mother had a double settee as she was not in a connecting room cabin. Very good storage space for both hanging and drawers.
Bathroom as you expect, adequate. Shower head was weird and did not give a good spray.
Beds were comfortable. Set as twin beds when we first looked but steward changed them to a double very quickly.
Air conditioner was extremely noisy and I found it hard to sleep. No fan control in room on temp control. Complained after 2 nights and was told nothing could be done then all of a sudden the fan speed dropped and it was great. Read entire member review >>
Roomy, cleaned and serviced as if by magic. We would leave the room in the morning only to realise we had forgotten something and find it completely made up on return within half an hour. Staff were amazing, always cheerful and helpful Read entire member review >>
- Would go outside again as it was nice to be able to look outside and see what was going on. Only downside was that we spent a lot of time moving between decks 3 and 9, but tried to take the stairs at least a few times each day
- Room was small, but well designed with lots of storage and a safe. Bathroom seemed recently updated, yes there was a shower curtain and yes shower cubicle was small, but curtain managed to contain water and not end up all over the floor.
- Excellent attention from stateroom attendant Ketut Read entire member review >>
I liked the location as it was not too far above the waterline. Not so rough as higher cabins The cabin in the most forward on this deck and the most quiet and private as no interior rooms opposite. Being under the promenade if the weather was better it would be used a lot. Though the theater is next door and above it was no issue at all. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 3000 next to a crew storage area and ice machines on the other side of the wall. Noisy pipe in the wardrobe which couldn't be fixed. Cabin 8017 directly beneath the pool deck and outside dance floor. Unbearable noisy 18 hours a day and sewage and cigarette smoke all through the passageway. Imagine a stampede above your head and death by smell. Read entire member review >>
Small for two people, but that's to be expected. The bed was not comfortable in the least! The shower curtain almost always got in the way while taking a shower. Imagine taking a shower in an old time telephone booth, and you'll have a good idea of how much room there is. Read entire member review >>
Do not book cabin 3116. Smaller than average, and very noisy - ship's engine noises all the time, especially early in the morning when docking. Also some banging and working noises. Read entire member review >>
Our 'large' oceanview cabin on the Legend was small, with outdated decor, stained and generally badly maintained furnishings, a clinging fabric shower curtain, and an exceptionally hard bed. As well, because of the time of year and the placement of our bed (the head of the bed was directly underneath the window) we were constantly reminded of the Atlantic's bumpy-ride by rythmic banging against the cabin wall, possibly from loose items stored below decks (i.e. below our stateroom).
