A small interior cabin well placed for access to the Centrum. It was fine for me as a solo cruiser, but two may find it a challenge. Some noise from Deck Four above at night time. Read entire member review >>
Although we didn't request it, we were placed in an ASAP cabin likely since we booked a 4 berth. The cabin was definitely more spacious than a standard interior. There was no tub just a walk-in/roll-in shower. The room design was very dated. We used the bunk and it was very dirty and dusty, they don't do a good job cleaning. The housekeeping was average, although they didn't refill the soap pump until halfway through the cruise. Read entire member review >>
Cabin seemed around normal size and set-up as others we have experienced in this category with a couple of exceptions. The double bed was pushed against one of the walls to make room for a chest of drawers on the other side. Unfortunately you couldn't open the drawers wide enough to comfortably place clothes in so it was a waste of space. We could not fit our empty cases under the bed unlike on previous vessels, the beds being about 5 cm too low. We had to put them in the wardrobe which took up hanging space. First section we were on deck 2 inside which was a bit cramped but on the second section we were mover to 6033 which was about a foot wider. We only sleep in our cabin so they were both OK Read entire member review >>
We were pleased with the cabin. The shower was a little smaller than other ships but cannot complain since this was an inside cabin and shouldn't be surprised of size of shower. Read entire member review >>
The worst part of this room was the noise it produced while sailing. There were a few nights when I couldn't sleep. All night, all day, it sounded like someone was going up and down creaky stairs. The walls were just LOOSE it seemed. I ended up getting ear plugs from Guest Svcs. There was a shelf missing in the bathroom and the shower shelf was broken. There is a lot of storage including 3 small and 3 big drawers and lots of shelves above the desk.TV was clear with good channels (CNN, HLN, ESPN, children's tv, Spanish tv)The bed was comfortable and clean with a large pillow selection. Basic inside configuration but bathroom is extremely small. Only one shelf at sink area. I had a neighbor on one side--never heard anything. The other side is blank on ship layout but I never heard anything from that wall. Often though heard a loud fan-like noise that seemed to come from overhead. It was noticeable but nothing that caused a sleepless night. See main review for further comments on cabin. Read entire member review >>
BUT - Parts of the Legend are getting old and worn in spite of the recent upgrade. Choose your room carefully and make sure that you have the amount of space you need. Our cabin 3583, category N, was 132 sq ft. For now on I will get a bigger room. I picked the room knowing the size. I did not know how worn the beds, furniture, bathroom, couch would be. Room temp and shower temp was erratic and uncontrollable. I spoke with the housekeeping management to tell them the room was not up to my expectations. Read entire member review >>
smallish cabin. We didn't think about the lack of daylight, slept in till afternoon the first day. Just about enough wardrobe space, and plenty of drawers. Sixth floor quite good location, photo shop on one side and coffee shop on the other, one floor up to library, one floor down to pursers and shops. A very long walk along the corridor before you get to lifts, stairs or anything else, and you have to say hello to all the cabin staff on the way. At least this makes it quiet at night.
