"I just wanted to thank you for the privilege of leading this group [Voyager of the Seas, January 27, 2008]. We had a fantastic time, and everything went as smoothly as can be expected. Well, with the exception of a little fog! We are already thinking about one for next year!".....Brn2Crz
Just wanted to let you know the trip was awesome... we had a fantastic time cruising together. I appreciate the forum that Cruise Critic allows for people to do things like this. It was by far the best cruise I've taken. Several of the group would like to cruise together agin in the future, as early as next year. It seems thats the way alot of the groups end up going, making life long friends. The group went off with out a hitch....Litewait (Group Leader - Mayhem on the Miracle 4/01/07)
"My husband and I sprung for some munchies (fruit, veggies, potato skins, and hot wings) and had a drawing for a bottle of wine [on our Grand Princess "Grand Times Grand Med" Member Cruise in May 2006]. Our group members each brought a gift from home for a planned chinese gift exchange. (Some gifts: pewter wine stoppers, southern maryland crab hat, matted prints of Boston, mugs from various regions, and books. Our private group tours met each morning at the same bar, so everyone knew where to "roundup."......muse_clio
"I just wanted to drop you a note to thank everyone at Cruise Critic. We were on the Carnival Victory 9/29/02. We had a pretty big group (approx. 40) posting to the boards for a few months prior. Everyone that posted met the night before the cruise for dinner in Miami and we continued to spend our time together on the ship and the ports, had a big balcony party and most everyone made lots of money in the Casino while we spent our nights together. After 10 cruises, this one for us was the best. Without the Cruise Critic boards we would never have met. I want to personally thank you for introducing us to our new friends. We plan on cruising together again"...lbd24
"At 6 pm we had arranged to meet all our Cruise Critic contacts at the Tapas
Bar. It was so great to finally put names and faces together and to get to chat
a little. There was a pretty big group of us, about 35. We shared some
excursions, so we got to see each other a few other times throughout the
cruise. I recommend getting together with others this way, it made the cruise
so much more enjoyable. We ran into members of one of the families several
times. We really enjoyed their company and would love to cruise with them
again"...Dacko
"We had over 200 folks from Cruise Critic boards on this sailing, and they were the greatest group of folks! We had a large party (thanks, Judy), lots of nice keepsakes (thanks, Dean) and a very nice get together in London at Porter's (thanks, Mike) the night before the cruise. I would sail with all these folks anytime! This board is so great for sharing information and meeting new friends! Thanks Cruise Critic!

"Our huge [Cruise Critic group] of people agreed to meet at 2 p.m. on the first sea day in the Platinum Club. I think that MidtheNight sent enough emails to Celebrity to attract some attention. We were all very pleasantly surprised to find that Celebrity catered our get together with small snacks and free drinks! I think we had at least 40 people show up. It was a really nice time. I got to meet everyone who had signed up for the St. Lucia Yacht Charter, and even added a couple more people"....ALadyNCal
