RIPPED OFF AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT CRUISE

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

This was a crossing that lasted 23 days. We chose it largely for the ports. Unfortunately we were closed out of several due to Covid or weather. I understand weather as a reason for not docking, but I don't get the poor transparency. We all had to jump through the Bermuda protocol hoops prior to embarkation but then we didn't go there- likely due to folks not understanding the protocols. ...

NEVER AGAIN!! Completed a segment of the Oceania Around the World 2019 cruise. Treated like a second class citizen by ATW Travelers who were given special privileges while the rest of us treated as if we did not belong despite the dollars paid being very high.(The ATW cruisers made up nearly 3/4 of the cruisers onboard) . Atmosphere onboard - us and them - it was dreadful. Crew ...

Overall the cruise was excellent and all that I had expected and hoped for. I felt that the staff were excellent and accommodating. The food was good most of the time, and I appreciate that the buffet is high quality and an excellent alternative to the main dining room. The food is not your typical buffet pre-made food, and there are lots of healthy choices. The internet was terrible ...

My husband and I are avid cruise fans with this being our 31st cruise. We have learned the ins and outs of cruising and generally use the ship as our floating hotel by spending as much time off the ship as possible exploring different ports. We have been on almost all of the "upper end" cruise ships and have always had a pleasant experience. However, this experience was so horrible that I felt ...

It is important that everyone knows that the O'life promotion if you pick the free excursions they must be booked at least 14 days before sailing. Once on board you can not pick your excursions and will have to pay the full price of the excursions. I did not know that so I thought I would pass that information along. This ship Insignia had the best food of any cruise or land based restaurant I ...

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Insignia

My recent cruising of the Insignia, a vessel belonging to Oceania Cruises, was quite disappointing after having enjoyed several cruising trips on various vessels belonging to their sister company, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The Insignia is quite an old vessel completely refurbished with some sort of lavish splendor in their many sprawling, but almost always empty common areas. This is sadly ...

Don't do this in the summer. We were hit with temperatures in the upper 90s and higher, with humidity around 100-percent much of the time. Other than that, and the chairs scraping noise from the grill above our stateroom (see cabin review below), this was a wonderful cruise. The ship is on the small side, only 684 passengers. You begin to recognize folks a few weeks into the cruise. ...

We have been loyal Oceania travellers having completed 8 cruises on their three smaller ships Oceania did not send our documents to us, when enquiries were made they said we hadn't paid in full They had been paid totally in February. We could not make reservations in specialty restaurants for same mixup. Also free wifi package had to be asked for as we also we're not given this benefit although ...
