My husband and I had cruised Alaska in 2019. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go again, but to do a land/sea tour. Holland American seem to have the best reputation for this. The HA Koningsdam was recommended by a frequent HA cruiser. It lived up to the recommendation in every respect. Well run ship. No surprises. The ship had 2700 passengers however we did not feel crowded. Vista suite room recommended. Disembarkation was flawless. Tamarind food was 100%+ but all of the food was good to great. Dutch cafe was a highlight for great drip coffee.

Went on the Canada 7 night cruise out of Montréal to Boston. Took our family of 4 (kids age 8 and 10), and brother and wife. I had done research and knew this was not a “in your face” entertainment cruise but was laid back sailing on a smaller ship with plenty of room to spare.
