Our last cruise with Holland America was about 12 years ago and we had not been back since because of their smoking policy. I had e mailed Holland America a few times asking when/if they were going to change the policy. They always declined stating smoking on balconies would remain. We spent 2 days prior to the cruise in Ft. Lauderdale at the Hyatt Place on SE 10th Ave. We bought wine at Total Wine and a few groceries at Publix. Also took the Sun Trolley to the beach.

We are 3 star Mariners on HAL and this was our 9th (and shortest) cruise on various HAL ships and the 2nd on the Eurodam with a total of over 25 cruises on various lines. - Housekeeping services. Cordial and kept the room clean and neat. Every time we came back to the room, the bed was made. Every evening they left a nice towel animal.
