The suite we were in was very spacious for 4 people. The TV could use an upgrade and the coffee pot could have been changed out and working but over all was great. Service was excellent. Read entire member review >>
Awesome location at the front of the ship. Super nice bathroom, 1.5 size regular deluxe balcony room and balcony has a chaise lounger which was handy. Ate a few dinners from the Windjammer on our balcony. Packed saran wrap and covered our plates. So nice to eat and listen to the waves. Read entire member review >>
Fantastic for the amount of money paid. We had more than enough space for three luggage bags of clothing. We had space left over after we put away all of our clothes. Stayed once in royal family suite but was too much for two persons. Read entire member review >>
Junior Suites are awesome. Lots of room. Great balcony. This particular one was located on deck 10 port side rear just below Chops Grille. Fairly quiet area except for dinner time. There was a fairly significant vibration from the propellers/shaft/engine at speeds around 19 knots but we got use to it... slept like babies every night.
Best feature is that it's very close to the stairs that take you one flight up to Windjammer cafe! And that's where we eat all of our meals. Read entire member review >>
We liked the bathtub and beds/bedding, There was rust in the bathroom by the door, and railing on the balcony was very poorly finished and needed to be redone. The view was partially blocked by supports, but still Read entire member review >>
Loved our cabin on Deck 10. Our stateroom attendant Juan Morales was wonderful, would try and get you anything you asked for, and kept our ice bucket filled after we asked for it one day for our white wine. Our refrigerator did not cool things very well, needs to be replaced. Also, our "mini bar" only contained two big bottles of water. We left them alone. Loved the larger balcony (two recliners, a table and two chairs). Enjoyed the walk in closet and the slightly larger bathroom - the tub was great to have, room to move around and also wash out our scuba equipment. Being on deck 10, it was just one flight of stairs up to the Windjammer and the pool deck and gym, so didn't have to wait on elevator. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated having the robes and the coffee/tea service in the room. Read entire member review >>
We took a Junior suite. The room was huge, but there are few amenities that go along with the high price. Benefits - can board and disembark first. Room is spacious with a very large balcony. Cons - no amenities. No access to the concierge club. No gold card - meaning no access to special sections on the ship. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was lovely....lots of extra room including a small window room to the side that was just perfect for luggage storage. It is one of the few on this ship that has this luxury. The balcony was great with loungers and chairs/table. We were on the "hump" and the views were magnificent. The room had a coffee maker which was pleasant. Our closet was huge and storage for everything here. The bathroom was nice with tub and shower but the storage was still slack....not like an interior but could have had a bit more storage for bottles of "stuff" Vincent our steward did a great job and we really appreciate all his efforts. Other than the five-way crack in the bathroom sink, the room was very nice and very spacious. On one of the days, the heat didn't come on, but the problem was taken care of promptly.
One drawback was the day in port when "bunkering" took place starboard ALL DAY LONG, preventing us from sitting on our balcony due to the horrible stench that rose up from below. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very spacious. A generous size bathroom was fantastic and we had plenty of space on our balcony. Overall it was great, no complaints at all about our room and I'm not the easiest person to please! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin exceeded expectations. The cabin was great and Heather our room attendent was absolutely amazing. She was always there when you needed something and greeting us with a smile and the word "nice" The cabin itself is large and the walkin closet was amazing. The tub was great as my wife used it every day. My only complaint about the JS is that I feel you should qualify for some of the suite amenities offered to the higher class suites. With that said the balcony was amazing it was large and had a small table 1 chair 1 chair with a footrest and a lounge chair. There is ample space in the cabin to have a party lol... You cant go wrong with a JS on this ship. Read entire member review >>
Love the junior suite and love the larger balcony! Shower curtain needs changing. Saw our cabin attended in the hall and he smiled and provided what was necessary. We did not need anything extra. My daughter gave us the room decoration package and royal provided a romance package. Thanks Royal! Read entire member review >>
WOW ! First time in a JS. SO MUCH ROOM !!!! Walk in closet, bathtub, large balcony. I am blown away and now spoiled unfortunately !! This cabin was perfect. Close to elevators, quiet and spacious. Read entire member review >>
Roomy cabin with a real tub and shower as well as a walk in closet. Everything worked properly. We love the aft location which has a larger balcony and an incredible view. Some places list these cabins as having an obstructed view because part of the ship's structure goes around the back of the ship. We got used to that quickly and couldn't enjoy a balcony more. We had aft cabin 1706 which is a Jr. Suite and directly below the Windjammer. We NEVER heard any noise from the Windjammer. The cabin was fantastic and the balcony rocked my world. It had two loungers, a small round table between them, a large round table that made it easy to eat meals outside and three regular chairs for the large round table. There was till plenty of room on the balcony with all that furniture. Next to my favorite Voyager-class cabins (the aft cabins 7388 and 7688), this cabin had a very large balcony. Due to its being directly below the Windjammer, there is a very deep overhang, so if you are looking for a balcony with sunshine this will not be the best cabin for you. We don't like sunny balconies, so this was perfect for us. There was plenty of drawer space and the walk-in closet was nice, however the layout inside was a bit of a hassle since your hanging clothes either block the shelves or your face as you open the door. This cabin also has a bathtub since it is a Jr. Suite which is a very nice feature. The cabin also had a flat screen TV that had some swivel capabilities, but not as much as we would've liked. Cabin JS-9328 is perfect! The location on the ship makes it easy to get around. Our cabin steward Lizeth was fabulous. She took care of all of our needs. The walk-in closet is very spacious. We had more storage in the cabin then what we knew to do with. The bathroom is also very spacious with a tub/shower. The beds are new and hard. We were concerned at first, but we did not lose any sleep during our stay. The balcony was awesome with 2 loungers, 2 chairs & a table. The forward view was unobstructed, but due to the "hump" in the middle, you cannot see the aft. With just two flights of stairs up to the Wind Jammer, and the pool deck, no waiting on elevators. The best thing is that when there are no deck chairs to lay in the sun, you have your own private oasis on your balcony for use at any time. Read entire member review >>
It might be the fact that I had only ever had inside staterooms, but I LOVED this stateroom! It was located close to the rear elevators, so a good location, and only one flight of stairs up to the Windjammer/Pool Deck, so less elevator waiting. The room had a walk-in closet; a large granite countertop in the bathroom; soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion; a bathtub/shower combination; very large vanity/desk area; full size couch; easy chair and ottoman; balcony with two chairs, a table, and a lounge chair; and an additional floor to ceiling window at the balcony. There is really nothing to complain about this room except one thing - the AC worked TOO well. Even when we had it turned all the way back to almost off, it pumped out lots of cold air. I thought it was too cold at night, but since my mother and sister didn't complain, I didn't mention it to our stateroom attendant, although I'm sure if I had, he would have taken care of it right away, as he was very good! I can never figure out how people can complain about a room this nice and BIG, unless there was something functional that wasn't working properly. This room was fantastic! Would I pay this much again? Probably not, but it was for a special occasion, so it was worth it to make our mom feel special, and having three women together in one room, we appreciated all the extra storage space. Our stateroom was FANTASTIC. We had a junior suite on the 11th deck which was 300 sq ft not including the balcony which was great sized (Could fit 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a small table on the balcony. The storage in the room was amazing and the room had a WALK IN CLOSET. Read entire member review >>
The room was lovely. Very large and clean with a very comfortable bed and sofa by the balcony. Lots of storage drawers and shelves. Nice walk in closet. Room was very quiet and only steps from the elevators. Balcony was great! Large enough for 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table with plenty more room to walk around. Only complaint, TV was much too small for the room. Read entire member review >>
Junior Suite 1406-made possible by a problem on last year's cruise which had RC giving us a 20%dicount this year. We didn't ask for it-they gave it to us because of a problem in our cabin one day on Jewel of the Sea Read entire member review >>
Had attached balcony JS for the 4 of us which was wonderful as the balcony divider opens and made for a huge balcony. Cabin had everything we needed and plenty of storage space. We were starboard aft and could feel the vibrations people were complaining about, but it didn't seem that bad to us and was not constant but you could tell when the vibrating started. We had the steward remove the mini fridge items so we could use for our own stuff and asked that he fill the ice bucket everyday. Needed an extension cord and that was it.
Our cabin steward (Siri, which reminded us of our iphones) was great. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was clean and comfortable, but not what I would consider a suite. The level of service was standard, and the cabin looked identical to any other balcony room with a few extra feet. The television is miserable. 5 channels of self promotion, and pre programed garbage in 4 different language. If you want to watch The Big Bang Theory, or 30 Rock in spanish or french your in luck. Otherwise forget it. Maybe you have to pay extra for "premium TV". Read entire member review >>
This was a typical room with a bed (two twins pushed together), and a small sitting area and a sliding door to the balony. It smelled like an old diaper and we kept trying to keep the sliding doors open to air it out but we weren't allowed to do that unless we were in the cabin. Toward the end of our week they shampooed it and that helped, but hanging out in the cabin was not ideal because of the smell. The balcony was nice. Read entire member review >>
We had a hump junior suite. This was nice!! Large walk-in closet; balcony with lounger and two chairs; a very comfy chair and ottoman as well as the couch. We will definitely book this again! Read entire member review >>
First time ever in a junior suite -- exceptional room! My daughter, a girlfriend, and I shared the room and with three women in it, there were no complaints. Plenty of room and even a tub in the bathroom! Spacious balcony, a walk-in closet, and a comfortable fold-out couch made for a pleasant and relaxing trip. Read entire member review >>
Handicap Accessible cabin. Nice and large, easy for WC to get around. Balcony also large and could easily accommodate the WC. The only down side was that we expected an automatic door opener that RCI uses on some of their other ships. Would have liked to see that. Bathroom was good but the fold down "bench" was only 12 inches square - no kidding, we measured. So we used a chair off the balcony in the shower. Read entire member review >>
1370 and 1372 Beautiful rooms, the bathrooms need work though the showers have some mold and they are a little smelly. They were juinor suites so we had decks, very nice views, loved being able to sit on our deck and watch the ocean! Read entire member review >>
We had adjoining Jr. Suites. We could go in between cabins from inside or outside as we had the the veranda doors open as well. Great space for families traveling together. Huge walk in closet. Stateroom was large and very comfortable Read entire member review >>
Couldn't be happier with the location. Down 2 doors, turn right and you're at the Centrum elevators. Exit on Deck 5 and you're right at Guest Services & MTD entrance. Exit on Deck 11 right at the Windjammer. I was originally concerned that being so close to the elevators & stairs I'd hear the wild & noisy hoards of people congregating there. Never happened.
The room itself was comfortable, roomy for 2 people. I'd gladly give up a foot of room space to gain that in the bathroom though. Shower curtain kept attacking me until I pointed the water at it a little more, then it kept its distance. Walk-in closet was awesome, and doubled as a changing room. Tons of storage space between that closet and the drawers on the dresser/desk.
Balcony had 2 chairs, 1 normal lounger and 1 footstool style lounger, plus a small round table. And there was still room to move around.
Our Steward was a very sweet guy. Saw him quite often, was beginning to think he just lived in the hallway waiting for us to come & go. Read entire member review >>
Junior Suite 9644, very good, a lot of space for hanging and shelving and hiding the suitcases. Always kept clean and with a different towel animal each day. Close to the lifts and stairs and on the right hand side of he ship, just before the bubble. Read entire member review >>

Junior Suite 1406; Deck Ten; Aft Balcony. This was great!! We wanted an aft balcony again and it was fantastic with the views and what we wanted with our cruise experience. I highly recommend this cabin and, as I mentioned in my overall review, Leslie (our attendant) was on top of everything, very responsive, and very friendly and attentive. Read entire member review >>
We stayed in a Junior Suite on Deck 9 (starboard side). It was an amazing cabin with tons of space for our family of 4. The main bed was the size of a king and the sofa for the kids was also large. It did not have a sleeper sofa mattress. It was a sofa that opened like a futon with a thick mattress pad on top. Both beds were so comfortable. I slept better than at home in my own bed. The cabin was spacious with a large balcony and small walk-in closet. We were able to unpack all of our clothes and everything had someplace to go. The bathroom was also larger than expected with a tub. The shower was great and had excellent water pressure. All in all it was a great cabin and we would definitely book it again. 7414 Aft meant a large balcony with 2 lounge chairs, a small table with 2 chairs and shade. View is vast and sunsets fantastic. no soot or smell for our cruise. 7th floor gets shade from 8th balconies so not hot, which I loved! You can go up on deck for sun. And you can't fall overboard, not that this should worry anyone (does anyone else ever have falling overboard dreams? Maybe just me.) Jr Suite means kids in pull out instead of above you, which was also nice, beds lovely, great sleep. Loved the small tub for 7 year old to get clean nightly. Read entire member review >>
Our family of 6 had 2 junior suites. We had great space and if we did it again this is what we would do. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet 98% of the time. Rooms 6000-6002 connected, great views from our balcony. Read entire member review >>
1670 and 1672. Great balcony, great view, huge closets, quiet. Turn down service was so so. Was told that the towel oragami is now only every other day. Kids were disappointed! Disney had awesome turndowns! These are nice rooms. Read entire member review >>
We booked a junior suite on Deck 10 (1590). The room was spacious enough with great closet space and storage space. The balcony was ample. The room was quiet - I never heard my neighbors. Our suite was in the middle of the ship on the port side. Deck 10 is under the pool deck (Deck 11). Sometimes we could hear music coming from the pool area. It wasn't unpleasant. The walk-in closet was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was adequate, but I would like a wider doorway, so I wouldn't have to enter sideways.
There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was very good.
The suite comes with a mini-fridge, but no microwave.
Satellite TV is available, but it is usually from Puerto Rico. Don't expect to see your favorite shows. You need to watch some of the ship's programming, because it is the only way to get some important ship information.
The interactive channel was down for the last two days of the cruise, so we couldn't review our bill on TV.
I found the bed comfortable (firm). My wife prefers a softer mattress. Read entire member review >>

Good location near rear elevators, an easy stair climb to Windjammer and pools. Balcony is spacious and quite nice. Walk in closer is big enough for all the clothes, suitcases, and a small campsite. Nice size room. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was too far from the elevators. I suggest getting close to an elevator. However, this JS was the best cabin we have ever stayed in. It was a huge room with a walk in closet. I dare say the closet alone is bigger than the rooms on the Monarch (ok maybe an exaggeration but you get the idea). Read entire member review >>
Great room. It was an adjoining room, we just happened to be fortunate to be next to 2 wonderful elderly couples on either side. We did not hear a peep the entire time. Although I think that if someone with kids or younger was next door we could have easily heard them, cause we could easily hear our neighbors sneeze. But the room itself had a great view and was very quiet. Read entire member review >>
Nice roomy cabin with nice walkin closet. Balcony essential but the neighbours were smoking there all the time. For a non-smoking tagged ship & cruise it was very disappointing. Also, any late night party at the pool on deck 11 means that you will not be able to sleep until the end of the party! Read entire member review >>
We had JS 7712 Aft. It was fairly large and we never felt crowded and there were 4 adults in it. It was clean and well decorated. Our balcony was huge, we had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table and still had plenty of room. The view of the back of the ship was beautiful. You do see the structure of the ship in your view but it's not bad at all, just a beam horizontaly in your vision, not a wall. we had no touble seeing the ocean wether we were sitting or standing. However you can not look straight down into the ocean as there are more balconies and and extnded area under you. That didn't matter to us though. The only bad thing I will say is that we had a less than steller room steward. Sometimes when he came in to clean he would only make the beds and not clean the balcony (not of trash we always took care of that) but you could just tell it wasnt cleaned and our balcony door looked dingy some days. Also he didn't clean the bathroom at all a few days or he would leave the dirty towels on the floor and not give us any fresh. But besides that we loved the room and the view. It is a far walk to everything which is fine by us, because we like using the stairs and walking and we didn't gain any weight this way lol. Read entire member review >>
The room was great! We had a very large closet. This room is on the "hump" and had a great view. We heard very little from our neighbors, only a little from the one which we shared a door with. There weren't any rooms across the hall from us either. We could hear people walking down the hall a little bit, especially on the day we disembarked, we could hear them dragging their bags. There is a great sitting area in this room. The bathroom has a tub, and it was a perfect size. Read entire member review >>
