The cabin was small, but truly everything we needed. The bed was very comfy, plenty of drawer and closet space, nice TV - though we were so busy we didn't watch much. Bathroom was very adequate. Nice water pressure, hot water in showers, good towels. Not a single complaint! Read entire member review >>
Cabin was perfectly adequate for our needs - clean and tidy & well serviced. We don't spend much time in our cabin, but we were happy. Little or no passing traffic as we were so far forward. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was great, very clean and the cabin boy was excellent and nothing was a problem for him, disappointed with the extras, like shampoo and conditioner mixed together on the wall, I thought that the rating of this ship would have included the better quality essentials. Always had clean towels and our bed folded down of a night. Read entire member review >>
We had an interconnecting state room, on deck 3 with our teenagers on the other side of the door. The port hole window was huge. The room was comfortable and functional. It could perhaps do with a refresh as it looked a little dated, but certainly was clean and comfortable.
We had our bed made up together, which was huge! And comfy. The girls had two king single beds, and the 14 year old had one of the top bunks pulled down.
As I wasnt comfortable with my three year old sleeping on a top bunk, our steward supplied us with a fold out bed which he made up and put away for us each day.
We had plenty of storage.
It was kept clean by our steward and roomy enough for our toddler to play with her toys.
Our older daughter and her boyfriend had one of the newer rooms on the other side of the ice rink. Their room was a little bigger and fresher. The cabinetry was slightly more practical and modern. Read entire member review >>
Yes a bit more movement being aft, but never felt uncomfortable. Gentle rocking at night and we did have 3-4 metre swells.
Large with two BIG windows. Lots of light and views whilst in bed.
Did find the lounge uncomfortable though. Read entire member review >>
Fine for first 3 days, then annoying knocking noise started. This could aso be heard from the corridor as well, and all the maintenance staff acknowledged they could hear it. Ceiling removed in the corridor, but unable to find the source and stop it.
Eventually moved to another similar cabin and the silence was bliss.
Apart from the noise, no complaints about the size and cleanliness of the cabin. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 2292 was an ocean view window. The carpeting had coffee stains from several past cruises and the irony was that the crew was replacing the carpeting two doors down. The toiletries were a bar of soap and a push button all purpose lotion in the shower. It was no noisier than most cabins on the second floor. Initially the cabin was very difficult to find because one has to go up to the fourth floor to cross over and take the elevator down. Then the "You are here" signs were not accurate. Nowhere was our cabin room mentioned on the signs. The first night it took us 45 min. to find the room despite the fact that we asked several crew members for help and I was an Eagle Scout. The secure location did limit the hallway noise. The room was cleaned every day and our cabin attendant was great. Read entire member review >>
Bathroom (like most on ships except Disney) is like a closet. I hate the shower as the water temperature varies and there is no way to turn it on without getting soaked by cold water. Ship was pretty quiet. We both slept like babies. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin on deck 3 was quiet, we didn't hear any noise. Our stateroom attendant Danny was great. Rooms were clean, had plenty of storage. Bathroom is small but we didn't have any problems. Make sure you have attendant remove items from frig so the kids don't eat the as they are expensive. Beach towels are available on deck 11 by the bar. We were near THE PALACE which was handy for the shows. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 2644 is a quad cabin. My wife, two daughters (16 and 12), and I managed to fit everything we brought with us in the cabin. We found that bringing extra hangers for the closet and a shoe rack for the inside of the bathroom door helps to fit everything. Instead of storing my Izod type shirts in a drawer, I hung them on hangers which saved drawer space. My advise to those in our situation is to hang as many things as possible. We ended up with one and one-half shelves each in the closet and one and one-half drawers in the desk for other clothes that couldn't be hung. We stored all the suitcases under the beds and used them to hold dirty clothes. We decided to separate the twin beds and put them against the walls under the upper pull down beds. Basic oceanview cabin towards the back of the ship. Very quiet hallway, short walk to the elevators. Decent bathroom, closet space. Plenty of storage space in the bathroom, and in the desk/vanity table. Read entire member review >>
Low bunk beds - may hit head while getting up. No stationery in room (pens). No ice bucket. PA system cannot be heard in room. Tiny bathrooms. Stains on carpet. Old bulky CRT TVs. Read entire member review >>
We were in an ocean view category H room on deck two. One of the "cheap seats," the room, though small, was clean and tidy. Despite being in the bowels of the ship, it was very quiet at night as well as during the day -- we had no trouble with unwanted noise from the location however our room was an adjoining one and that meant that we heard a lot of what was going on in the next cabin and we had only a small chair rather than a love seat in the room. Great location, right by the elevators. Glad we had a low deck for the rough seas! Broken light fixture by bed that was rigged and looks terrible. Great housekeeping staff! Two pull down bunks overtop of queen bed. "Mind your head". Angle of TV makes it difficult to watch from bed. Read entire member review >>
Clean and fairly quiet. It is quieter higher up but the plus side is you feel less motion down low. The bathrooms are small, even by cruise ship standards. The room itself is adequate sized. Not much hallway traffic, other than guests on this deck. Descent size room. Read entire member review >>
