Oceanview cabin aft, was a nice upgrade from GTY inside. Was a bit worried about the anchors and noise from the casino upstairs and the main stage but neither was a problem for us. A bit far to trek for dining but we didn't mind. We had an upsell offer for a verandah but decided against it and I don't think we missed it much, we were on deck for most of the day anyways if weren't in port. Nice big screen TV was a nice touch. Plenty of storage space. The stateroom attendants did a good job but were not overly friendly (and that was ok with us). Read entire member review >>
Room was fine. Mid ship on deck 2 just down from the excurtion desk. Nice to have a tub. Plenty of storage cupboard for everything. Again great service from Osmon and assistant. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was comfortable and clean. Television is not user friendly. The room had a tub/shower...the setting of the temp and shower took instructions from the steward.
Room stewards were very good. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was initially too hot and complaints to front office yielded only people who didn't know what to do. I buttonholed a ship's officer, detailed the problem, and he sent an engineer who discovered that the air condition vent was blocked internally and fixed it. Cabin, bath, storage were otherwise fine. Nice bed- lots of storage underneath. Small for 3. Small TV but they do have DVD player!
We thought we would HATE the location being on the 1st deck but we liked it once we realized how close to the main dining was and how we never waited for an elevator. On most ships this would be a bad location but not on Eurodam. You are central to tendering, front desk and elevator lobbies. Read entire member review >>
Too much storage! Yeah, I said more storage than we needed on an 18-day cruise. Bathtub/shower combination in bathroom. HAL, if you read this, don't take any of the storage space out. I loved our room. Lots of space. We were on deck one and I was afraid these were the cheap seats - well they were some of the least expensive, but the room was one of the best we've ever had. More room than most verandas we've had in the past on other cruise lines. Read entire member review >>
We "splurged" for a room with a 4x4 window. We don't pay lots for rooms, in general. It housed the four of us very nicely. We each got our own bed - and plenty of sleep! There is a bed that comes down from the wall, which worked well, if you remembered to duck your head. It was quiet, and we enjoyed looking out the window. The TV was great for the few movies we watched, too. Read entire member review >>
