Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

After much anticipation, we boarded the Disney Magic on March 27th, Easter Sunday, for a 4-day cruise to Castaway Cay and the Bahamas. Boarding was smooth and the quality of the food at lunch - a buffet - was excellent. The cabin was a little cramped - since it was supposed to accommodate up to 5 people - luckily we were a party of 4, but the cabin was clean and the separate shower and ...

DISNEY MAGIC - 3 DAYS NOT ENOUGH

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

We had a navigator's verandah cabin and loved it. There was plenty of storage for the three of us - we did not even use some of the drawer space. My 5 year old grand daughter had a ball; she loved the character meets and seeing the characters at different times throughout the cruise. The food was okay; I would have liked more choices. Castaway Cay was perfect. The water was warm enough to ...

Luxury for the Family

We choose DCL based on the Disney reputation (we had been to Disney World 3 times) and the enticing commercials for the Disney Dream my 12 year old daughter say on TV. We had never been on a cruise and y husband and daughter were excited to go. I wasn't very excited about spending 4 nights on a ship in a floating hotel with four thousand people. Well, we all loved it and I was pleasantly ...

Disney Experience, but starting to slip.

This was my family's second Disney cruise, last one was in 2013. Disney's reputation for clean vessels, family friendly atmosphere and no hassle cruises is well deserved and maintained. When other cruise ships pull into port next to Disney ships you can really see why you spent more for a Disney Cruise. The shows, variety and quality of the shows is exactly what you would expect from Disney. ...

First and Last Disney Cruise; going back to Carnival in November.

I've cruised many cruise lines, Disney was honestly a disappointment. First the cost is double so you should be able to expect double right? Wrong. Employees with no personality waiting for their 8 months to be up ! People pushing and shoving at Cabana for the brief time that the buffet is open each day. We actually missed a few meals because of lack of opportunity at Cabana and dining room being ...

Man Im glad my parents discovered cruising! The ship: Beautiful and amazingly decorated, does have a lot to offer. The pool is very crowded though, but Im 13 so I don't care. Those little details are amazing, I also like how they announce your name on boarding. Cabin: I have been on the dream twice, going in 32 days. Last cabin was 6114. It was nice, like most other verandah cabins. Wasn't ...

We just returned from our second Disney cruise and loved every minute of it! We flew into Orlando the night before and stayed at the airport Hyatt. This is so easy because we never leave the airport and they have lots of food options you can easily grab and take to your room. We are a family of 4 with girls ages 5 and 8. Our friends also traveled with us with their 6 year old daughter. The ...

Disney for Adults, Celebrating Mom's 85th Birday

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Magic

We did Disney for Adults to celebrate mom's 85th birthday. She had been on 20+ cruises but never Disney and loves the parks. We blew her away booking a concierge 1 bed room suite. At special check in the Disney team escorted her on board and we went to the champagne reception in the concierge lounge where our personal team went over our plans on the trip. Then on to the room. Mom was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Fantasy

We chose this cruise as we are avid Disney fans and had already been on the Disney Magic. I wanted a larger newer ship and we picked the Fantasy. Overall Disney knows how to raise the bar at all levels and really makes others play catchup. This was my 12th cruise total (Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Disney) and would rank it as the 2nd best trip. Disney brings the same level of quality from ...
