Family with 10 and 12 year old
Great cruise overall. Boat was packed – was hard to get a chair on the deck anywhere but the adults only section.
1. In general it was a great cruise. As is typical Disney, very smooth operation everywhere, great friendly service throughout, incredibly clean. This is not the best week to book a cruise though – over President’s Weekend – I didn’t realize it ...
DREAM CRUISE FOR THE FAMILY
As a first time cruiser, I didn’t really know what to expect during our 3-night Bahamas cruise on the Disney Dream. We had done lots of online research and had an excellent travel agent, but the actual experience itself was a big question mark. I boarded the ship at Port Canaveral along with five family members (two adults and three children, ages 8 and 10). ...
I'll start by saying that the overall cruise experience was great. Disney does a great job keeping the sail organized from check-in to departure and all points in between. The amenities for the kids is great from the kids club to the pools and water slides and aqua duck. Shows and entertainment were top notch and very well done!
While our stateroom service was impeccable, i was a little ...
Our grandchildren are 5 and 8, and so we decided if we were ever going to do a Disney cruise we'd better go while the kids were young enough to really enjoy it. We bit the bullet and paid more for a 3 night Disney Bahamas cruise than we did for a 7 night Royal Caribbean Mediterranean cruise. We've cruised probably a dozen or more times so we're definitely not new to the cruise experience. ...
Amazing food - Crab and Prime Rib on the buffets, 5 course meals for dinner. Tianas place 5*, Animators Palate and Tritons 4*. Restaurants are on the front half of the boat - There is a bit more rocking experienced in the restaurants than in our middle of the shipo stateroom.
Amazing service. These waiters/staff work 7 days a week for 6 month contracts and have a smile on their face every ...
Family of four from the upper Midwest choose Disney because we have been to Disney World several times and have always enjoyed the experiences. Traveled with my husband, 12 year old and 10 year old sons.
Cabin on the Disney Dream: He booked a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. Plenty of storage in the closet and dresser drawers, suitcases x 4 all fit under the bed. Hair dryer ...
I'm going to start with the good things:
Disney "Wonder", February 12 to 16th, cabin 8500.
Manager Staff:
Gabriela, Martin and Carlos tried to repair my experience with diligence and constantly, but their efforts where in vain.
The service at restaurants was very good, not excelent but very good. The quality of the food is very good, not remarkable but very good.
Our room was ...
We loved our trip on the Disney Fantasy! Just about everything lived up to the high expectations we had and was well in line with other good reviews I've seen on this site.
Embarkation was super easy. We had a port arrival time of 11 and pretty much breezed through security and check-in. We did have to wait another 30-45 minutes to board though. If you're staying near the port the night ...
We wanted a short cruise for a quick getaway during the school year and decided on DCL to try something new (we've done multiple Carnival cruises in the past and my wife has taken a DCL cruise - but this was my first).
The embarkation process was simple and efficient. Our time slot was 11:00AM - the ship boarding began at 11:30. There isn't much point in getting there earlier than 11:30 but ...
This was a 3 gen family cruise. Our third Disney cruise. Disney cruises are always perfect. They make sure you have a wonderful time. And we did. The Disney cruise app was a great benefit. We were able to see all activities, sorted by type, and we could what we wanted to note as favorites. This allowed the app to give a 15 min notice when a favorite came up. The app also let us all text ...
