Excellent Staff, But Not A Cruise For Adults

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Disney Fantasy

We went on this cruise with extended family- there were 14 of us altogether. Of the 6 kids in our group, ages ranged from 4 to 10. My husband and I are a couple in our 30s with no children. As others have said, there aren’t enough words to describe how outstanding the entire crew and staff are. I’ve never seen people work so hard and be so friendly and pleasant at the same time. If my review ...

We have been on many Disney cruises. Our family was excited to try the new ship. We are gold club and our daughters are platinum. We all agreed we would never sail the Wish again. And we won’t sail on the Treasure when it’s launched. Embarkation was smooth. We boarded at 11:30a. Our luggage didn’t arrive in our room til 5p. The concierge level guests in our party also didn’t receive luggage ...

First Disney Cruise

My husband and I are retired and would not typically choose a Disney Cruise for ourselves, but we were treating our daughter and 9-year old grandson to a vacation. The Disney Wish is a beautiful ship. We had adjoining verandah staterooms. We loved the separate shower and toilet baths and all the storage. The AC in did not work as well as in we noticed. We slept without a cover or just the ...

Great experience

We enjoyed the Disney Fantasy. This was our first Disney cruise and it was fantastic. The service was amazing!! Our room steward was exceptional and really went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The food was fairly good. Some meals in the dining room were just okay but that’s to be somewhat expected when they are preparing food in such huge quantities. We loved seeing the ...

Disney Disappointment

The ship was beautiful, different then the others in style but still gorgeous. Many staff cast members were great, more then a few aloof. The old style muster is asking for trouble. We were packed into the venue Luna and made to wait for people who never showed up, it was excruciating. The adult area was super small and filled up early, the little pool and hot tubs were people soup. Same ...

Too Crowded

3 Major Problems: 1. I booked two cabins at the same time. I asked for adjourning rooms or at least right near each other. They gave me cabins on the far opposite sides of the ship on different floors. When I mentioned it--they said they made a mistake, but they could not fix it. 2. They charged internet for premium speed for $36/per day per device. The speed was slower than dial-up. Many ...

Very disappointing

DO NOT DO IT! It is the most overrated cruise I’ve ever wasted hard earned money on. It’s way overcrowded and they are short staffed. You’ll wait 20+ minutes to get any kind of service in the very warm, sad excuse for a “concierge lounge.” And if you pay extra like us for concierge level you will be waiting to get an elevator to take you to floor 12-14 for 10 minutes+ everytime of day… with your ...

I was on the Disney wish May 2023. This was my third Disney cruise. I’ve done one on the Dream , the Magic and now on the Wish. I have to say that I like this one the least. I did not like the dining room themes it wasn’t great food or enjoyable dining . The Disney theme dinning rooms were no as special as the other Disney, cruises. The market place, which was the daytime Buffet was ...

Not a very Disney ship

We were excited to book on the Disney Wish and hoped it would be like our other experiences on Disney's other ships, we were overall pretty disappointed. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 kids ages 3-6 and are admitted Disney enthusiasts. Embarkation was slow and there really isn't much for kids to do in the cruise terminal. Once on board the Grand Hall was nice but seemed a little plastic, ...

My husband is a die hard Disney fan and we have done several Disney cruises. This was the latest to add to his collection! Embarkation was average. There's always a wait to get on Disney even if you are doing a back to back sailing. Larger cruise lines give you the "Royal" treatment and I feel that Disney can learn a few lessons there. I've been on mega ships who have gotten us on and off in ...
