I chose this cruise because I am looking for a new cruiseline to sail. Having cruised over 800 cruise nights on my previous cruise line I was ready for something better.
From He moment I arrived at the port it was quick and orgainized. After checking in I had to wait for my boarding number to be called. That wait was awesome between the Characters and the very pleasant port agents, it was no ...
We chose this cruise because we have two young girls and we didn't have a great experience with keeping them entertained on a different line. Disney by far met our expectations in that regard. The kids enjoyed the kids club enough to give us a few hours of adult time each day and there were more than enough activities outside of the kids club to do as a family.
The ship was spotless and ...
Let's get something straight - this was not a perfect cruise, and there are some elements of the service that were not up to par when compared to previous cruises. However, the Disney Fantasy is a great ship and overall, this turned out to be an extremely enjoyable cruise.
What I liked: Speedy embarkation and good arrival buffet. As the boat recently went to dry dock for a refurbished, all ...
This was our 4th Disney Cruise. It was such a disappointment! In my comments that we left at the end of our cruise, I included 4 pages of items!!! First, the excursions were horrible. We paid just under $1,000 for two excursions and spent more time or transportation than at the actual excursion. I recommended dropping the Mystic Mountain Bobsled and the Xel-Ha resort tours as the docks are so far ...
This was our second Wonder Christmas cruise and we loved it again. Not having children of our own, we love watching all of the children dress in costumes and parade around meeting and greeting their favorite Disney characters all over the ship. We traveled with parents, grandparents and two small boys who were quite a hit on their own.
Disney's food, public and private areas, employees and ...
We chose this cruise for our grandson to experience Disney and cruising. We have cruised many times on other lines and felt this was the best for children his age. He had a wonderful time. I have to mention that our grandson has a peanut and egg allergy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure his food was safe at all meals. The extra attention they gave him and the easing of our anxiety ...
We wanted to attend the Merry Time Cruise for the shows, spa, and holiday festivities.
This was a four day girl friend's cruise. I live in Florida and have cruised on Disney and other lines many times before this cruise.
We sailed on the Magic out of Miami for a four day cruise.
Embarkation was delayed.
We had an inside cabin. Cabin was fine in mid-ship. Toilet broke but was ...
We have done about 35 cruises, but this was our first on Disney. We took our 6 year old grandson for a birthday treat.
We were very surprised by this cruise. One bad surprise, and the rest very good.
GOOD SURPRISES:
- We were concerned that the Disney Magic is an older ship, due for an update early in 2018. While it lacks some "wow" factor, we found it to be a good size, very ...
I sailed in December 2017 with my mom, 6 year old son and 11 year old nephew. We had a great time on the Disney Magic. The weather was a bit cloudy because a cold front was coming in that weekend, however, that did not stop the kids from enjoying the beach and pool areas. The dining room service was excellent, one of the best I have ever encountered. The Broadway-style entertainment was absolutely ...
This is my first review -- so hopefully it answers some questions.
First off - if anyone has other questions, please reach out and I'll do my best to answer them.
My husband and I decided to go on this cruise -- to try it out. We had been on Princess and couldn't stand all of the nickel and dime sales pitches. We heard Disney was different and boy was everyone right.
We decided to do the ...
