Great trip. Loved the marvel day at sea! Worth the extra money for the marvel. Lots of characters to see. Although lines were long if you plan right you can be near front and they give you plenty of time to visit. Let you take your own pictures. Marvel show was excellent. Kids club was really nice we loved it had two areas which were both large with many activities. Dining was a fun concept ...
If you like long line ups you will love the embarkation and disembarkation process for the Disney cruises. We have taken many cruises and our experience with Disney was the worst.
The advantages of the cruise are the many activities for kids: water sports, beach activities, mini-golf, shows, music etc. Also, the staff are very good with children.
But the negatives are substantial. The ...
I have cruised with Disney once before, and that experience was a 10 out of 10. But now, 5 years later its a very different experience.
We took our cruise during an interesting time, during our trip DCL was hosting some Disney bloggers and those bloggers soured this trip for us.
My fiance and I wouldn't normally take a Disney cruise as a solo get away, but due to inheriting some DVC points ...
We chose the fantasy because it had so much going on that interested our family. 7 days was perfect. There was a pirate night as well as Star Wars at sea day. Our 10 yr old granddaughter is in to Star Wars and the 5 year old very much a princess. The oldest had a make over at the bibidi bobidee boutique as a Star Wars character on Star Wars day and youngest as a princess another day.
Dinner ...
I chose this cruise because I was booking last minute and ended up settling on this. I had decided that my budget could afford this cruise. But the things that were added cost me almost double what I originally paid. I had no knowledge that another closet to 3 thousand dollars would be added on top of the cruise cost. The thing that stood out to me was the cost of the wi-fi. If I had decided that ...
We had chosen this cruise because our son loves Mickey and the characters. All I can say is they go above and beyond. We chose the shorter trip because my wife has major motion sickness (she took a patch). Everything was so clean, events were well organized, so much to do, food was very good for all ages. There was a hiccup our first night dining as we were the late group. The second night ...
We went on this cruise with my then 5 year old and 3 year old sons. Although they aren't that into Disney specifically, we figured they'd enjoy the kids activities and we'd get some much needed adult time away.
The short version is this: The Kids Club and Kids Activities were a big disappointment, particularly if you have [stereotypical] boys.

Wow, what a miss that was! ...
This was our second sailing on the Magic and the service level continues to be excellent. We were in 2620 which was a bit noisier on port days due to being over one of the entrances to port, although it was not intolerable, I would probably pick a different cabin on 2 next time. We loved the Rapunzel's Royal Table update which was new since our last sailing (although we also loved Carioca's). ...
The time of year fits our school calendar better than spring break with our oldest in college now his spring break falls on a different time than the high school calendar. So to escape the cold and have traditional family vacation this was great timing. We have enjoyed WDW as a family for years and this Disney Cruise was our first cruise as a family. Two big thumbs up on how excellent this ...
I purchase a DisneyDream cruise December 28-31, 2018.
It was a 3 days cruise.
Our party had 2 children and 3 adults.
All of us were expecting to have an enjoyable relaxing time.
Oh, how wrong we were.
Lets start with an entry to the ship.
No one in the world told us that our cabins will be available at about 1:30-2:00 o'clock.
We were scheduled to enter the ship at ...
