We are a family of 3, including an adult daughter, none of which had ever cruised before. We are huge Disney fans, and were aware of Disney cruise line, but assumed it was out of our reach financially. We are a retired Navy family, now living in Florida, approximately 4 miles from the Magic Kingdom. We were able to find a Florida discount, and on another occasion a military discount)..so we took ...
This is our 4th Disney cruise, traveling with three boys ages 5, 4 & 2 years old. We've stayed in the Walt Disney Suite once before, and it really upgrades your trip beyond belief! Concierge on board attentive to details, they care about the smallest details and assure your perfect vacation. The staff that assisted on this trip Angeline, Christine & the infamous Danny.
The checkin at Port ...
We sailed the Disney Dream for a 4 night cruise, and all we can say is "WOW!" Disney does cruising right. The entertainment was the best we had every seen on a cruise, and the friendliness and work ethic of the staff was exceptional. We cruised with kids ranging from 6-14, and there was something for everyone. Our oldest loved Vibe and Edge, and our youngest (who usually hate kids clubs) begged us ...
I attended this cruise in honor of my nephews 10th birthday.Almost everything went very well.Service staff was very attentive, they bent over backwards to please us. Food was great, I loved how the cruise organized the restaurant dining to prevent overcrowding. The ship was very clean & well maintained.Excursions to Bahamas & Castaway were great. To me, the downfall of the trip was in the lack of ...
Did this cruise with my whole family. Me, Husband, Kids (15 &11), sister and her husband and their kids (9 & 13), my adult brother and our parents. (11 in total). We had a wonderful time. Food, service, even the attitudes of the team members were impeccable. Kids loved the "aqua duck" water slide and pools. Disney movies are constantly being shown at the kid pool area and are fun to watch. Dining ...
This was my first time on Disney Cruise Line. I have done other cruise(7) lines and enjoy cruising. There are many many positives about Disney. The staff was beyond excellent and so professional. The ship was immaculate and beautiful. The food was delicious in all venues. My grandsons had so much fun at the children’s club that they never wanted to leave. There are just a few changes I would ...
It's hard to travel with children who have severe allergies, especially food allergies. There are only so many allergy-free foods you can bring along, and most places won't let you prepare your own foods (even if you could be assured that the plates, pots, and pans don't harbor traces of dangerous ingredients). We had heard that Disney was good with allergies, and we found a travel expert who ...
After pondering for several years on whether to sail on Disney or another cheaper cruise line, my family of 3 (including 7 y/o boy) took the plunge and reserved a category 04e cabin (5532) which is a deluxe family stateroom with oversized verandah. Port Canaveral is very well run, with embarkation proceeding smoothly. You leave your bags with porters at the curb, go through security, then go ...
3rd Disney cruise and loved it again every time room has been immaculate cleaned every day and towels are folded into animals and bed sheets changed every day.
People say pool is too small and the 2 pools for all ages are small however it isn’t easy to have a large pool onboard a cruise ship there are also adult exclusive pools and a pool for teen club vibe (14-17)
Ship is easy to navigate ...
We loved everything about this! The rooms were good sized for a cruise. The treatment was amazing! We stayed on board in Nassau and enjoyed the pool, movies, and character meet and greets. My husband couldn’t believe they had jumbo shrimp and crab legs and the lunch buffet! All the food was amazing and they handled my gluten allergy with no problems! Their private island was so much fun with lots ...
