This was a second cruise for me on the QM2, and it began with a delay boarding in Southampton, surprising after literally walking right on the ship after my arrival earlier in October in NYC to travel to the UK. It proved to be a ... Read more

This was an experience to cherish and a super way to conclude our month-long vacation in America. The facilities afforded onboard the ship did not disappoint in any way. All the ship’s personnel demonstrated a singular goal ... Read more

First time on Cunard and it did not disappoint. Everything exceeded expectations. I especially loved the "rock"n"roll" of the ship during some rough sea days. Not everyone would agree. This was a jazz cruise and ... Read more

The highlight of our October crossing was the selection of terrific jazz performances by Blue Note artists Gregory Porter, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and their bands. Headline concerts in the Royal Theater, more informal concerts in the ... Read more

It was on my husband's "bucket list" to cross the sea on a real ocean liner, and this is the only one sailing today. We also love to ballroom dance and were intrigued to try "the largest ballroom at sea". We travelled ... Read more

Taking the Queen Mary 2 transatlantic had long been on my wish list, but I resisted as long as Cunard charged an outrageously high surcharge. I signed on the minute I heard about the new single cabins. My cabin on Deck 2 was roomy ... Read more

This was our 5th voyage on the QM2. We chose it due to its recent Remastering. My wife and I embarked from Southampton to New York on Sept. 20th in a Queens Grille stateroom. Our luggage using Cunard's White Star service was the first to ... Read more

Chose this crossing as I don't fly and thought it was about time I visited the US and Canada. Embarkation was quick and efficient although why I had to give my hotel address in NYC when I had ESTA was puzzling to say the least. When I ... Read more

Cunard makes everything easy, from embarkation to disembarkation. While not yet complete, the 2016 refit of the QM2 is nicely planned. They improved the layout of the vessel, while leaving the favorite locations unchanged. The food is very ... Read more

As always I read these wonderful reviews on here so I feel I need to send you my feedback about my QM2 transatlantic last week. Well, I had a brilliant time and loved every minute of it. Ship is in very good shape indeed. Personally ... Read more

I suggest that the QM2 is too retro, with its restaurants, cigars, bars & deck chairs straight out of the 1950s. There isn't much to do on the typical 5-day crossing, except sit at the pools or walk the deck (3 times around is a mile). ... Read more

This 'crossing' was part of a trip which included a coach journey on the east coast of USA and Canada. Though we have been with many cruise lines, we had never done Cunard so we were looking forward to sampling the white star service. ... Read more

We choose QM2 over flying to Europe when the price becomes competitive. It did this Aug and we cancelled free tickets to take advantage. Although Cunard makes much ballyhoo over the remastering, it was confined principally to the Grill ... Read more

I chose this crossing of the Atlantic from NYC to Southampton because it met my goal of enjoying a crossing without jet lag. Also, my wife and I were going to be in the UK for about a month so starting in Southampton was a good start. ... Read more

QM2 is like a new ship after her remastering. Everything seemed new - carpets, furniture, appointments. We have done a transatlantic before, but the Cunard "crossing" is indeed a different experience. I could tell the QM2 is a ... Read more

We were already vacationing in the U.K. when we had the sudden idea of returning to NYC by boat. Fortunately, the Aug. 1 sailing had one cabin available--a Britannica Club on deck 12--and we grabbed it. It was our first transatlantic ... Read more
