I have just completed two transatlantic crossings. The first NYC to SOU on Sept 4th and the return SOU to NYC on Sept 20th. Two words describes both: absolute excellence!! I will try to keep this review short (but it is tending to ... Read more

The directions that cunard gives for embarkation are not correct. They tell me to go through immigration when I arrive in New York. The airport I flew into did not have immigration. My assigned seating on the round trip was not given to ... Read more

The Queen Mary 2, as we expected is a beautiful, spacious ship. The amenities offered are wonderful. We took this trip because Crosby Stills and Nash, a 1960s rock group were slated to do 3 concerts onboard. But the lectures offered ... Read more

The Queen Mary 2 voyage was amazing. The food was supreme. The crew/staff from the Captain, Head Chef, our cabin boy to the housekeepers, they were all wonderful, polite and very professional. The whole White Star service exceeded all ... Read more

Another great cruise on the QM2! My partner repeated the Westbound Transatlantic crossing we did last year. This year, we traveled with my father and best friend. The crossing is very popular. We actually ran into 3 groups of people we ... Read more

Wife and I did our first "Crossing" in August and hope to do many more. As veteran cruisers we've determined that our favorite part of past cruises were days at sea. So, why not do 100% Days at Sea? Flew into Heathrow from ... Read more

I'm a retired U.S. Navy Sailor and have spent a couple decades at sea so I knew what to expect as far as the nature and feel of a ship at sea but all I can say after being on the QM2 is Wow!! My wife and I had just spent 9 days in ... Read more

We booked this trip early, 9 months before, a trip to Southampton, three weeks in Europe and then return passage to NYC. It turned out that the Queen Mary 2 did not sell out for the Aug. 19th sailing, and we and our friend traveling ... Read more

Intro (warning: long): Before I begin discussing the actual ship itself, I just wanted to debrief my rather bumpy journey of travelling to New York from Wales to meet my family. I was to travel alone (which I have never done before) to ... Read more

I have travelled Cunard several times before, and was overall very pleased with the QM2, but was a little disappointed in that the elegance of formal wear did not apply to High Tea any longer - as that was one of my fondest memories. With ... Read more

I chose this voyage as a result of my travel agent suggesting it instead of just another long flight. This voyage was grand and outstanding, every detail was looked after in a Royal way. I have booked another voyage on this ship in 2017 ... Read more

... Unless it's your wedding pictures. We chose the QM2 as a venue to get married and learned some valuable lessons. The land-side service from Cunard was deplorable. The ship is wonderful and the crew on board excellent. The wedding ... Read more

This ship is marvelous. The public areas are gorgeous. The food was magnificent and we even had lobster tail one night, not so common any more. They had 4 formal nights, but if you didn't want to participate you could eat in the buffet. ... Read more

First my positive comments: The ship itself is great; spacious and comfortable. The ship's stabilisers were only used once during the 8 days and this was in Force 9 winds. The impact of the high seas was barely noticeable on board. ... Read more
