Celebrating a 25-year wedding anniversary of friends. Check-in was slow and tedious. Personnel unable to properly read vaccination certificates (due to dates in UK and USA being written differently!).
Debarkation was an absolut disaster. They blamed it on the US Authorities. Not sure it's to be believed.

We arrived at about 2pm ready for our boarding time of 2.15. It was a very smooth embarkation and we were on board by 2.30.
To say the ship has just had a refit, I noticed some of the carpets needed to be replaced. Other than that everything seems to be up to the usual standard.

We chose this cruise because it is different than any other cruise, it is a crossing on an ocean liner. My daughter and I loved going to tea in the afternoon, sitting out by the pool at the back of the ship, and all the historic photos on board. Why so many complaints? If you don’t want to see any signs of rust and wear, go on a brand new cruise ship! This ship is 18 years old and they were constantly painting and repairing everywhere during our cruise. Many of the areas have new carpet, new furniture and the ship was spotless in all the bathrooms, common areas and restaurants.
