We found this cruise at a very convenient price but the topics we are reviewing we understand that no matter how much you pay are good to be aware. Positives: Food was good for Italian and Spanish but Americans or British may suffer without a cooked breakfast or egg options. Staff is friendly and attentive what indeed makes it better. The cruise is kept clean and you can see staff ...

Warning...Costa Cruise Lines is not for North Americans

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Deliziosa

Having cruised on Princess, Holland America, Oceania etc. Lots of disappointments with services of Costa Deliziosa. Strike 1 - the boarding procedure was hurry up and wait in line. Costa there are more efficient ways to embark passengers on a ship. Strike 2 - entered our stateroom, king bed...when 2 beds were requested upon reservation. It took 4 hours to separate the beds as they did not ...

We had two nights in Venice then a 7 night all inclusive cruise on the Costa Meditteranea .. We had a port of call every day Italy, Croatia Montenegro and Greece . We had a basic inside cabin that was totally adequate for our requirements as we do not spend a lot of time in there other than to sleep .. We have cruised on P & O, royal caribbean and carnival before around the Med and Caribbean. ...

Another Fantastic Costa Cruise

This was our 4th time with Costa and each time it exceeds our expectations. Being a coral member we were offered a free upgrade to an ocean view cabin and received fruit and Bubbly in our cabin on arrival. I was a little apprehensive about what the ship would be like, but it was lovely and very tastefully decorated. I really don't understand why Costa often gets negative reviews, as the ...

Disappointed with the Food

We booked this cruise direct with Costa as this was the cheapest option available and we arranged our own flight with Ryanair from East Midlands Airport to Venice Treviso as we did not want to stop a few extra nights in Venice and as we wanted a flight home at a reasonable time on the day we got back to Venice. The taxi transfer from Treviso to the Cruise Terminal costs about £50.00 each way ...

Poor Customer Service

Boarding was a battle. The bar staff with the exception of the main one on the second floor had poor service and the mixed drinks tasted terrible. We got the all inclusive and have regretted very much as my wife only had a few mixed drinks and left most of them. The wifi is also a rip off they charge by time blocks and it's not customer friendly nor gives you a counter and it is extremely slow. ...

This was my second cruise, and first cruise with Costa. I recommend cruising but potentially with a different Cruise company. From the first instance, Embarkation is a nightmare as it is very unclear to guests the process that they need to follow. We got their at 12 30 and did not get on to the boat until 1530. The main area that we felt needed improvement was the food. It was terrible and ...

We decided to fly to Venice a day before our flight because we had heard that Marco Polo airport is sometimes fogged in and we did not want to miss embarkation of the Costa Fascinosa. The following day we did the usual trips around the canals on the Vaporettos or water taxis before heading to the cruise port with our cases to check in. Embarkation It had been foggy that morning but was clearing ...

Costa Magica Interior Cabin 1021 Enjoyable

I enjoyed this cruise and the ship a lot! First things first, you have to remember that it is an Italian Cruise line so everything is general chaos. Boarding, not having your prepaid beverage and excursion packages set right is to be expected (especially if you booked in the US). I arrived in the Venice train station, Expedia never forwarded the luggage tags so it was a chore getting my luggage to ...

We sailed on the Costa Fascinocia Greek Isle Cruise in Nov 2014. The good things: ship very clean and cabin attendant was wonderful and happy all the time! Pizza in the specialty / pay xtra for was really good.. had taste and variety, espresso and cappuchino's good. lots of cold cuts/ meat if you are in to that. Now for the bad.... Very few restaurant choices...Food was absolutely horrible.. ...
