I chose the Sydney to Auckland cruise on Celebrity Solstice to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary. The service and other features of the cruise justified my choice. This was our second cruise on Solstice, the first being to New Caledonia etc. We travelled C3 Concierge and our cabin was deck 10 a little aft of the bulge on the starboard side.

My sister & I chose this cruise as we wanted to sail up the coast of Australia from Sydney to Cairns. The Solstice is a well appointed huge ship.The food was excellent & most of the entertainment was good. On the whole the staff were friendly but a number found it hard to look interested. Me and my partner chose to cruise with celebrity after enjoying a fantastic cruise on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas 2 years prior.
We thought since the two are related and celebrity is more expensive that the experience should be even more fantastic. I have to say, we had a better time on the Explorer.

We chose this cruise as we had heard great things about Celebrity X. We have cruised several times Royal Caribbean so expected it to be better as Celebrity is supposed to be their premium brand.

We adored this cruise. 3rd time on the ship 1st time in the royal suite. Could we ever go back to a Sky Suite ? yes of course we can they are all delightful.
