Best stateroom we have ever had in all our cruises. Other reviews of this type of stateroom mentioned the poles beside the bed & bathroom. We did not find these a problem & the rest of the facilities made up for this.Able to store suitcases under the bed. Plenty of wardrobe space. 4 deep drawers to store foldable clothes in. Cabin 8345 ( Sky Suite ): Best deal and best location for the money. We had the exact location on the Celebrity Equinox in May 2010 and thought it had a great combination of space, light and amenities. Plus, at the back of the ship, you've got an unobstructed 180 degree view of land and sea as well as the churning surf beneath the ship. Read entire member review >>
2150 Aft Sky Suite
Huge with way more storage than needed by two people. Bath large enough with great rain shower. Butler, Chip, was very attentive and quick to help with reservations etc. On his own he brought me melted butter for my morning grits. The steward, Charlie, kept us well supplied and our room clean.
Problem was metal chairs scraping against concrete on the bar above our heads. Our deck was completely covered which was nice, but I don't know that I would choose to be on 12 again. Read entire member review >>
Great spacious room, nice private big balcony, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, the only bad thing as we were right under the Ocean view cafe aft deck so in the morning you hear chairs dragging across. But not a big deal. Read entire member review >>
Great room, with the exception of the noise from above. The room is located directly below the Oceanview Cafe and constant noise from the galley can be heard from about 6am until midnight. Be prepared to be woken unless you're a heavy sleeper.
On the other hand, the room is quite large and specious. The balcony is fantastic - double the size of standard Veranda rooms, and located under the deck 14 overhang shading from direct sun. Read entire member review >>
sky suites are awesome, large, and give you access to Blu Restaurant if you are staying in Aqua Class or a suite. We loved this the best about the entire cruise. We will book suites in the future, because the food was so divine in Blu restaurant. a total step above the rest for service and a culinary delight! Read entire member review >>
My parents and I were booked in the Sky Suite at the Aft of the ship. The room is very large with a window and a large balcony. Since it is a corner balcony, we got both a view of the back and the side of the ship which was very nice. There were some soot visible on the deck of the balcony, but I think they wipe the chairs everyday because I never found the chairs to be dirty. Read entire member review >>
Great Cabin #2146, but very noisy from above!! Closets wonderful, very open, BEAUTIFUL views from the aft, quiet location if no one is eating in the oceanview cafe on 14.... Read entire member review >>
Great suite with views of both the starboard and aft. Very relaxing to watch the ship's wake.
It was HUGE...bigger than our hotel room in Barcelona with plenty of storage and spotlessly kept clean.
It's a long walk to the elevators relatively speaking being at the end of the corridor but it also means no hallway noise. However, when our room steward saw us coming back to the suite, he was always there to open it for us.
Quite quiet with only a small bit of vibration when the engines were really working hard. We never knew that we had people beside us.
No soot on the balcony either. It too seemed quite large.
The only oddity---the support pole beside the bed that made getting out of bed a challenge in the dark Read entire member review >>
Cabin 2129 was on deck 12 which is under the buffet restaurant. Seems all suites on resort deck were under the restaurant. Was quit except for the occassional cart rolling by. This was not a problem. The room was large and the bathroom was a standard small bath. Well appointed, full tub and vanity. Plenty of storage space. The butler and attendant did a great job. The bed was comfortable.
