Deluxe Veranda (obstructed view) Cabin Reviews
Nov 2016
This cabin was a completely obscured veranda cabin. It was quiet and our room steward was fantastic. We booked this a guaranteed cabin as that was all that was available at the time of booking. I was disappointed with the view although I knew it was obscured.

Cabin 6300

The Cabin: We had a balcony cabin, and it was plenty big for the two of us. I would say it was longer and more narrow than other Balcony rooms on other ships. There was also a long couch about 7 to 8 feet. Which was nice to use. We did have to time who would use the small walking path, just so we didn't keep running into each other while unpacking or getting ready etc. The Balcony itself was larger than other cruise ships. We last sailed on Princess earlier in the year and the balcony was half the size of the Celebrity balcony.

Cabin 6290

Our cabin was really nice. We had a larger patio due to the layout of the ship. It made our room seem larger. We had a leather couch. The bathroom was beautiful and had tons of storage. I was happy we could store our luggage under the bed! There was also more than one outlet to plug into. The TV was huge. It got lots of stations and you could keep track of your charges.

Good cabin arrangement. Good bath space. Nice veranda. The view is definitely obstructed. This isn't just the very top of the life boat you are seeing.

Cabin 9230?
Jun 2015
It was a deluxe veranda but not sure what type however we were starboard stern(?) nice room, exceptionally clean with stewards who went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed - nothing was too much trouble. The TV showed missed cruise seminars (watched in bed) as was the hilarious Cruise Entertainments manager who was on daily.

Cabin 6204

Lovely Cruise By: Nanagoes
6204 has a partially obstructed view because of the tender's location, but it's the portion below the rail on the balcony. This was not a problem for us.

Cabin 7215
Jun 2011
Cabin 7215 - Hump cabin with somewhat enlarged balcony and not noisy at all. Could see lifeboats below, but they didn't obstruct view. Storage space can be tight on a Transatlantic because of limited drawer space, but if you can use the 2 cabinets above the bed everything works fine. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was fine.

Cabin 6195

If you do not mind the tender boats outside your balcony it will be fine. You can see across them so no big deal. For a first cruise it was great and would take it again. Close to elevators and quiet.
