Not worth the costly upgrade, basically nothing more than a bottle of bad champagne.

Stateroom 1606 was tight around the bed. And although we found room for all our stuff, we felt the Closet was poorly designed, in a too close location to the bed and very small, with sliding panels opening from either end. Very inconvenient to access. But bathroom very good size, particularly enjoyed the large shower with wonderful Pharo spa shower head and jets, bar for shaving legs and good spa products. Room located close to elevators and convenient to spa and pools. Balcony over-sized due to the bump out in the ship. Comfortable reclining seats and foot rests made it a very attractive place for a cocktail or reading.

Cabin 1571, just under deck 12 is covered, in the center of the ship, and offers great views. The cabin was spacious for two people to avoide feeling cramped. There was also a good selection of free on demand movies available.

If you are in Aqua Class, try to get a cabin in the back underneath other cabins on the pool deck. Although we always opt for the middle of the ship, this would have put us right underneath the pool area which is not a good thingyou can hear music, people, noise, cleaning in the a.m., etc. Also stay away from the front underneath the gymreports of hearing weights being dropped and machines being used were rampant. Actually, stay away from Aqua Class completelyit was one big disappointment with nothing we were told about it being true (see my review under Spike 4/19)
