Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Two beds convertible to queen-size. Sitting area with sofa, vanity, 32" LCD TV, wireless internet access, veranda (partially obstructed). Some staterooms may have a trundle bed.
Partially obstructed view, but the lifeboat only comes up to the bottom of the verandah so really not a problem.
Possibility of smoke wafting up from the promenade deck port side below, making it most unpleasant to sit on the verandah or leave the door open. Read entire member review >>
I was happy to get a hump cabin having only a balcony guarantee. It was near the elevator and had a huge balcony. There was noise from some equipment next to it which was annoying and a would have preferred to be closer to the aft elevator. The bed was next to the balcony. Good size safe and refrigerator. Pretty decent bathroom and TV. I brought adhesive hooks for hanging things inside and outside. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was comfortable and we had enough space, the balcony did give a feeling of space and wouldn't want a cabin without one. The bathroom was fine no bath but that didn't matter to us. Read entire member review >>
We got a discounted "obscured view" balcony. Our obstruction was a life boat support that was below the balcony rail and about a square foot on the left....It did not bother us in the least and saved us hundreds. Read entire member review >>
Lovely deck with full sliding doors. Asked to have mini bar emptied so we could use it for treats and sodas bought in town. Refrigerator did not work, milk spoiled and nothing got cold. Plus the refrigerator was stocked with beverages from Christmas, half eaten cans of chips, dirty cocktail napkins, and had a sticky mess stuck to bottom of refrigerator. Clean room ,but they need to supply new towels, towels were worn out and flat, and we were only given two towels and only if we threw the used ones on the floor. This is not luxury by any definition. The balcony size was very good compared to other ships. The chairs on the balcony recline and there is a nice size table as well. The view was unobstructed. The bed is situated near the balcony. The bathroom was updated and provided ample storage. There is a night light of sorts that never turns off in the bathroom so no one would trip in there in the middle of the night. The closet had two robes and enough wooden hangers. There are three deep drawers and two long overhead storage cabinets. There were two electrical outlets at the desk and one situated far about the bathroom sink. I didn't notice it until the last day. I do wish however the cabin could have been cooler. We turned the a/c all the way to the coldest setting and we were still warm on occasion. I finally asked the cabin steward to keep my drapes drawn when the afternoon sun hit our port side in order to keep it cool while we were out of the cabin. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very spacious with plenty of storage space. Raymond and Edy were exceptional, attentive cabin stewarts. We only had one issue with the carpet smelling and Raymond resolved the problem as soon as we mentioned it. Read entire member review >>
Very nice cabin. Although it was an obstructed view balcony, the only obstruction was straight down. Looking out our view was unobstructed. The balcony was larger than others we have had. We were at the very back of the ship and it was a fairly long walk from the elevators/stairwell. Service was excellent. Read entire member review >>
We had a few plumbing and noise problems, but the staff did all they could to make it right. Remember, you are on vacation! They have people for that! Just smile, let guest services know that there is an issue and they will fix it. Read entire member review >>
Partially obstructed. Can see lifeboats and big white lifting bar for lifeboat. But knew that when I booked it. Price was right. Would I do again. No. Pay extra for a better view. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of storage. It was very quiet as it was not near an elevator or public area. The view looking down was the lifeboats, but we had a clear view looking forward and to the sides. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin and because of the hallway and curve of the ship the veranda was awesome. The life boats below and to the right did not bother us and seating in the chairs there were no obstructions. Read entire member review >>
our cabin was quiet and lovely.. the balcony was slightly larger than others and the obstructed view did not interfere with our enjoying the veranda. There is a need for more drawer space as the cubies up on top of the bed are hard to get to as you need to climb on the bed to reach them. Otherwise great cabin. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6159 is advertised as having a restricted view due to a lifeboat being directly underneath. This was not a problem as we hardly noticed it at all. Bathroom seemed to be slightly bigger than we are used to. Good hanging space but fewer drawers than normal. Near lift but not noisy in any way. Read entire member review >>
State room ticked all the boxes. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linen and towels were frequently changed.
Cabin attendant was pleasant and helpful, but did need to be asked for some replacement toiletries, and we never did get any shower gel! We weren't sure it was available anywhere until the last day, when I asked Guest Relations.
Bathroom was well appointed and had enough storage for my lotions and potions!!Although we were told on booking that the view would be obstructed , it was not really noticeable and did not spoil our enjoyment of the balcony although photographic opportunities were limited.
We appreciated the turn down service, it was nice to finish the day with a chocolate! Read entire member review >>
Relatively quiet, aft starboard. Not a huge amount of foot traffic. There were families with young kids all around us, but we didn't particularly notice it when our doors were shut.
Partially obstructed view, which you know about when you book, but the outward view was fine. When you looked down, you saw lifeboats and window-washing equipment on Deck 5.
This cabin would sleep four -- there was a trundle under the sofa and a bunk that folded down from the ceiling. Our daughter said the bunk was comfortable enough. The bed was very comfortable -- nice linens! The closet was big enough for a week's worth of hanging clothes. There was one drawer for each of us in the dresser/TV stand, but some other ingenious storage spaces including shelves over the bed. Full-sized sofa. We liked the design of the bathroom -- plenty of space for toiletries in a nice glass-front cabint. Read entire member review >>
6238. Easy access from lifts, no extraneous noise, adequate size, "obstructed view" is merely a small lifeboat on the deck below and no barrier to enjoyment, balcony slightly larger than standard being on the hump. Read entire member review >>
We absolutely loved our room. There were rumors that storage space was limited and not planned well. We certainly had more than enough room. I was concerned because the usual clothesline in the shower was gone, but it was not a problem. New showers fantastic! In fact, this was the largest stateroom we've had. No hall noise.
I have learned from previous cruises to bring along stronge magnetic hooks. They work well on the walls and can hold reminders, towels, pajamas, hats, pocketbooks. Read entire member review >>
Cabin # 6187. Very limited storage space. (three very small drawers; narrow closet; two small over the bed cabinets. Location was very good, midship. View was partially obstructed by life boat but a clear view of the ocean and other areas was not affected. Quiet...with the exception of other guests allowing cabin doors to slam when leaving their cabin! Read entire member review >>
Although this was in the partially obstructed view category, there was no obstruction and balcony was fine. Nothing at all to complain about - no noise/odours or disadvantages Read entire member review >>
