The cabin was relatively spacious and it was immaculate. The view is unobstructed, but be aware that the lifeboats are located on the deck immediately below the cabin. The bathroom is the biggest one I have seen on any cruise ship. I wish that there was more storage space for our clothes, but we were able to ask the cabin attendant for extra clothes hangers to hang items that normally would not have to be hung in the closet. Clean and comfortable. The view from the deck so very good. One wish I would like is foot stools with the deck chairs. Otherwise for the value very good. Our attendant was very good at his job and stayed out of our way, but still got the job done. Read entire member review >>
See above, nice cabin. It was on the 'bump out' and I was concerned about the elevator proximity, but we never heard it. No much hall noise, just the usual kid traffic on a between the holidays cruise. Read entire member review >>
Furniture is breaking down, carpets are worn out, the linens are stained and dirty, and someone is constantly hosing down balconies with dirty water. Also few mornings around 6 am there were horrific noises outside like some machinery or metal hoods clinking that woke us up. Not a good room at all. Read entire member review >>
From what I understand very few cabins can be described as large, but we had plenty of room to move around. Our cabin steward, Jose, went out of his way to make this a comfortable experience. This cabin is forward, great if you spend a lot of the time in the entertainment area. We'll opt for aft next time to be closer to the food service. Read entire member review >>
Although in past cruises we've been on deck 8 or higher, this time we were in stateroom 6225, perfectly midship, in front of the elevators, over the 'Sushi on 5', so no late night or early morning noise... actually no noise whatsoever!
When they say midship, for this specific cabin, I'm sure if the ship had broken in half, our room would have been split in half, and maybe that's why I'm actually having less 'debarkation issues', as being lower and midship helped quite a bit.
We were essentially just steps (a floor or two) away from Café Bacio, the Martini Bar, MDR, the entertainment, ect. I could easily just run up and down the steps if I wanted to get or leave something in the stateroom. Our stateroom attendant, Sebastian, did a wonderful job, changing out the towels and facecloths daily, never leaving us to have to ask for anything! The quality of the soap (shhh I actually brought one home), the shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion where very nice as well. No overpowering smell at all, but the way the soap lathered... you really wanted to be washing your hands Read entire member review >>
Lovely cabin, but insufficient drawer space. No coff/tea facility, told to order room service if required, but as I liked a cuppa late at night, there was a charge for room service after 11.00 pm. Cabin was well laid out. Cabin Stewart was very attentive. Read entire member review >>
We were both surprised at spacious the room actually was with the verandah/balcony and queen sized bed. It was meticulously kept clean by our cabin attendant who always seemed to pick just the right time to come in and freshen our room up while we were gone either to a meal or shore excursion. He did a great job, as did all the celebrity Silhouette staff. Read entire member review >>
Our room was serviced timely and received everything in a timely manner. Our cabin stewards were very friendly and had a smile on their faces at all times. They were a joy to see and to talk with and they went out and beyond their duties to satisfy us. Their names were Katy and Pred. Read entire member review >>
Horrible! The worst cabin I've ever had, due to noise. Unless you are comfortable sleeping with earplugs or plan never to be in your cabin, do not choose 6126. We were a bit put off at being in a cabin over the theater, but were assured by Celebrity, that aside from practice in the late afternoon and performances, it would be quiet.
We had planned to sleep in on the sea day after departure, but no, someone decided to practice at full volume with the speakers on at 0830. The same partially finished guitar riff, over and over at floor shaking volume. A few days later, at least without speakers 0330 in the morning. Then a teeth rattling late show lasting until 1130, we had spent a long day hiking around in the rain and were exhausted, and once again woken up.
We spoke to the cruise director who explained that the musicians and sound people practice when they can, but he agreed that early morning and the middle of the night were uncalled for, and the off hour practicing ceased.
But...it never should have occurred in the first place. I have sleep issues, once woken, I rarely can resume sleeping....and I'm like a bear disturbed in hibernation.....not pretty, at all Read entire member review >>
Balcony cabin on deck 6. View a little obstructed by the top of the lifeboats, not too dieturbing. A large cabin with plenty for storage even for the three of us. Only issue was the heat that was not working the first day, and it was a cold one. Was fixed as soon as we asked though. Read entire member review >>
Cabin standard "deluxe" type very familiar to us. Good storage space and room for empty luggage under beds. Bathroom has lots of space for two people's stuff. Nice veranda with a little more room due to cabin location.Celebrity beds are very comfortable, provided bathroom amenities ok, and more available as needed from cabin attendant. Always need to ask for more hangers after unpacking clothes. Bring our own magnetic hooks to put on wall and handle hats, lightweight shirts, etc. Read entire member review >>
Stateroom with veranda had all amenities. Size was good. Very comfortable, They even provided skin lotion, etc. No slippers to go to swimming pool though. Had to ask for blanket, which was small. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the staterooms, including night light in bathroom, clothes closet, comfortable bed and furniture, etc. Shower was very good, shower stall was good size. Well located but cigarette smoke form the 5th floor smoking area often wafted on to the balcony and into the cabin.
Cabin steward was excellent and the cabin was comfortable. Read entire member review >>
The decoration and comfort of the cabin were excellent. The doors to the balcony were easy to operate and the bathroom was quite adequate. There was enough storage for 2 women sharing a room. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was wonderful no complaints. Sufficient storage not enough hangers but we had some brought in by our Cabin Steward I told him no rush but he was on it. We had coffee brought in by room service every morning at 630 so we could enjoy it out on the balcony the same girl delivered it she too was very friendly so we tipped her as well. We were in cabin 6120, forward starboard side, and it was great. Hubby did hear music from Celebrity Theatre just below us, but, without my hearing aids, I heard nothing! We did feel a fair amount of motion, but never felt sick. Our cabin attendant was Lindo and he was wonderful!!! Always kept fresh towels, and after the first day when I mentioned that we preferred 4 towels, there were always at least 4 towels available. Every night there were chocolates on our pillows at turn down. He had extra hangers to us within minutes of our request and filled our ice bucket 2 times a day. The closet was plenty sufficient for our hanging clothes. All of our large suitcases fit fine under the bed. There was a shortage of drawer space, but we simply made up for it by utilizing the cupboards above the bed. Previous reviewers mentioned that they were unaware of the cupboards above the bed. Seriously?? What did they think the cabinets were? Admittedly, getting into the cabinets was not as convenient as drawers would have been, but, not a serious issue. The balcony was decent size, with room for 2 chairs and a small table. There was a ledge which extended about 3 feet from the bottom of the balcony outwards which prevented us from seeing straight down to the water, but otherwise there were no other obstructions. Upon arrival, I moved the small "coffee table" from in front of the sofa to between the sofa and the closet, to get it out of the way. The bed was quite comfortable and the linens were luscious! The bathroom was bigger than we are accustomed to on other ships, with an amazing amount of storage. The shower was a great size and I loved the glass doors, and not having to fight with a shower curtain!! Even the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were quite nice. I am pretty picky about what I use on my hair and I used their shampoo and conditioner rather than the ones I brought. I love the way they smell! The little things are what make a difference: In the shower there is a small bar about 12 inches up from the floor across a corner. It was perfect to rest my foot on for shaving my legs!! Definitely better than the gymnastics contortions that I usually utilize! I loved that on port days, our cabin attendant left us pool/beach towels the night before, so that we did not have to make a trip to the pool to grab towels! I also loved the "loops" sewn into the edge of each towel for hanging!! And there are plenty of hooks in and around the bathroom for hanging stuff. Read entire member review >>
Clean and comfortable (except for sofa…..HARD). Loved veranda…a little larger than we expected. Fridge not cold enough. Ice melted FAST in ice bucket. Great storage in bathroom. Read entire member review >>
The cabins were tight - we had a veranda cabin and it had 3 drawers and some storage space in the headboard that no one mentioned - lots of people were "living out of their suitcase." Even with that, it was lacking. The cabins are small with little legroom. Our wonderful steward took our small cocktail table out on the balcony so we would have more room. Rounded beds made for discomfort for the long-legged folks. How could rooms be voted so highly when they are so small. The bathroom was a good size with good cupboard space. Lift location was good. Cabin was near the front, which meant there was no engine noise, exceptionally quiet. No noise from the theatre below at any time.
There is a dire need for new hydraulic arms on the cabin doors; the doors make a loud noise when passengers go into or out of the cabin, most disturbing when trying to sleep. At least the doors to the balcony are sliding doors so no banging. Read entire member review >>
Port side aft. Configured with bed closer to door. I like this configuration since I did not have to worry about tripping over a coffee table when navigating to the restroom in the dark. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was adequate, but with limited drawers. It was quiet and the bed is good. The sitting couch, however, was designed for looks and not comfort. Cabin was fairly clean, and steward service was good. Read entire member review >>
Totally unobstructed view. Good size, lots of storage. A bit noisy on docking but the rest of the time very quiet. Long walk to the dining room at the aft of the ship, but good for the waistline. Close to the elevators. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was small without adequate storage space. The bathroom was a decent size for a cruise ship but the room was tiny (verandah) and the steward moved the small coffee table onto the balcony so we would have more room for walking around within the room. No one mentioned that over the headboard were two storage cabinets. People were living out of their suitcases because they did not know. Excellent service from the cabin steward. I really didn't see anything special about the cabin. It is virtually the same cabin I have had on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. I always sail in a Cabin with a balcony and they pretty much all look the same. The Cabin steward (Toni) was excellent and always kept the cabin clean and ice bucket filled. The cabin was about what I expected from my other cruises, but there were logistical issues. Two weeks before the cruise, I ordered a bottle of Hennessy VSOP and it was not in my room upon departure. Upon complaining, I was told they were out of Hennessy VSOP and they would substitute it with a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP. I had a hard time believing they were completely out of Hennessey, but to make me happy the lady in Guest Relations ( Veronica) gave me a $50 credit and the bottle of Remy Martin.
Toni was our cabin steward and he was excellent. He kept the room cleaned and the ice bucket filled Read entire member review >>
I read on other reviews that the cabins lacked storage and agree, but we managed to work around it. Our location was great on Deck 7. We did find the balcony floor could have been cleaner and received notice that it was being cleaned at 9am one morning, but it was never done. There was also no ice buckets in the room, but I didn't request one and perhaps I will next cruise. The room was clean, and the bathroom shower was a pretty good size in comparison to past cruises.
The beds were very comfortable, but of course small which is to be expected on a cruise. Read entire member review >>
Cabin Number 6145 – Nestlin our room attendant was amazing. We found the cabin to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. Room had a balcony with a partially obstructed view. The support or winch for the lifeboat obstructed the left side of the balcony when seated. When standing or seated on the right side of balcony the view was great. We sat outside quite a bit and never found the obstruction to be a problem. The room was well laid out with plenty of storage. We liked the rounded corners at the end of the mattress, as it made movement about the room easier. I really enjoyed the television and having to access to several genres of music. I loved the glass shower stall! Finally I could take a shower without constantly peeling the shower curtain off my back. Read entire member review >>
We had a forward cabin with a balcony on the 7th deck, which we loved. Our cabin attendant, Viviana, was wonderful! She answered any and all questions and took very good care of us. Our cabin was always clean and we really appreciated our own outside space. We spent a good amount of time on our balcony. Read entire member review >>
This is a forward cabin on the starboard side with a balcony. We loved our cabin and spent a good amount of time on our balcony. Our cabin attendant, Viviana, was wonderful! She answered any and all questions and took very good care of us. Being in the forward part of the ship was nice, and being on the starboard side meant that no cigarette smoke came up from below. Our ocean view stateroom had a veranda and provided adequate storage for the two of us; had there been a third person on the couch, storage might have been an issue. Everything was clean and worked properly and our biggest concern was trying to turn down the shower to a level below scalding...there was no such thing as warm or lukewarm available. I remember finding towels folded into animals on my first cruise with Celebrity but either that is no longer done or only done in more expensive staterooms. One night, we found chocolate covered cookies on our beds in the evening, but it only happened that one night. The room was stocked with snacks and refrigerated beverages (for added fees, of course, there were about four on-demand films that were available at no cost and a host more to purchase, and the tv seemed to have decent reception on the few occasions we turned it on. Good: The Deluxe Veranda Stateroom was one of the nicest staterooms I've had on a cruise ship. My stateroom was right next to the elevator and we never heard any noise from the elevator or the hall. The room was very quiet. The furnishings were modern and nice. The bathroom was very nice with a lot more room than many other ships. Bad: The couch wasn't very comfortable. There are no foot rests on the veranda at this class. There were a number of occasions where we were unable to use our veranda due to marijuana smoke blowing from the cabin next to ours. Very well fitted out with thoughtful design. Excellent storage space especially under bed height allowed suitcase storage. Also above bedhead lockers were an excellent innovation not seen on previous cruise ships. Constant water temperature with accurate controls. Reliable air conditioning inspite of open balcony doors. Comfortable, adjustable balcony chairs. Comfortable bedding and effective sound insulation. Sold as obstructed view but with lifeboats at the level of the deck minuscule view obstruction. Our handicapped cabin, 7143 was roomy, pleasant, and loaded with surprising little extras we thoroughly enjoyed during the cruise. There was no noticeable noise except on the balcony, which was to be expected. Closet and storage space were quite abundant. Beds were pillow-top and comfortable. The drapes did a great job keeping the room dark. The refrigerator was not cold enough but that's a common problem on cruise ships. The cabin steward was pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. STATE ROOM: Forward section Room 6264, a Verandah State room. The room size is the same as other cruise lines. Due to the layout of our cabin it was very roomy, with lots of closet spaces to store our clothes, and supplies for 12 nights. We had a 32 "flat screen TV with numerous channels ie. CNN, MSNBC, Fox, BBC, ESPN, etc. The saving grace is the number of free movies you can get. The bathroom is large. The shower had a clear enclosure that is curved and full length and was easy to use with no fancy dials. All the expected amenities and lots of fresh soft towels were provided. We could not find fault or ask for more. Most of the light switches under the bed are hidden away, after a search we realized it was conveniently located to reach from the head of the bed. The bath room lights had a high and low beam and at night it served as night light, a convenient feature. The ice bucket was small but our room attendant filled it up 2 times a day. The balcony was spacious. We had our breakfast there every morning and in the afternoon quiet and a great place to read. Read entire member review >>
Closet OK, used a drop down bar for shorter pieces of clothing. Not enough drawers and drawers too small. Over the bed storage added additional storage but not convenient. Balcony fine, quiet location, not too far from stairs and elevator. Missing privacy curtain between bed and sitting area. Bathroom small, shower small. Nice storage in bathroom. Bathroom sink faucet ackwardly placed.
Bed wonderful, really comfortable. Nicely decorated. Beautiful large TV. Safe should be situated somewhere higher, too much bending to get to it. Read entire member review >>
7239- was somewhat small. Had a hard time moving around in Stateroom. Room seems smaller and has far less storage space than does Millieum Class ship does. No light on balcony. Read entire member review >>
