Well located near main elevators. Very convenient to aft end of ship and the Hideaway. Room was quiet and in good condition. Forward looking balcony on the "hump" was larger than other balconies on the ship. Read entire member review >>
I was very impressed with the cabin, super clean, good sized balcony, super comfy bed with nice pillows and bed linen, en suite was fine with good storage space and good shower, always plenty of hot water. My only gripe would be wardrobe was rather small and not easily accessable - if the doors were removed it would be infinitely better.
The over riding feeling I'm left with is the desire to come back for more! Read entire member review >>
The location of this cabin was great, close to the elevators and very quiet (except for my neighbors who always let their door slam shut). The bathroom was one of the nicest I've had on a ship. The shower was roomy with good water pressure. The majority of storage was above the bed which was difficult to reach as I am 5'3". I used the outside area and my husband used the inside. Not my favorite, but not a deal breaker. The balcony was good with two chairs and a small table. I would absolutely choose this stateroom again. Read entire member review >>
Excellent location near the elevators and an area where they had a coffee machine and lots of comfortable chairs. great stewards.
Disappointed that they have stopped making the towel animals. Read entire member review >>
We did not get to choose our room, it was selected at random for us. This is a balcony room and we understood that there may be an obstructed view. We lucked out because this room sits the floor above where the life boats are and we had no life boat below our balcony, and the balcony was a very good size. The view was perfect and to be honest even the rooms that have a life boat underneath their balcony really would not affect your view. I mean come on its the Caribbean, how could there possible be a bad view. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and the room was very spacious with lots of storage space. My only suggestion would be to bring your own blow dryer because the dryer in the staterooms are not very powerful. Other than that the room was perfection! Read entire member review >>
Cabin was adequate and what's not to like about a balcony! Even though it was "obstructed view" (tops of lifeboats at floor level) we had a great view. Drawer space was somewhat limited (3) but there was plenty of other storage including a bank of cupboards over the bed. Bathroom was even a good size. Nice to also have a sofa Read entire member review >>
Cabin very clean, small but adequate. Bed very comfortable, deck larger than average on starboard side.once the ice bucket "challenge " was solved, we had ice replenished every day and evening. Stewards were polite and efficient. Read entire member review >>
Our Veranda Stateroom was absolutely beautiful. SO glad that we decided to go with the balcony, it was amazing to be able to walk out there every morning and see the gorgeous islands (it's also an excellent getaway if you're starting to grow tired of your roommate after a few days). The ability to control your cooling/heating was a great feature. The room in general was very spacious compared to what we have cruised with in the past and the bathrooms were just as big and tastefully decorated as the room. Unfortunately, I had gotten a very bad sun burn the first few days and the showers ability to produce cold water was slim to none. The settings were basically hot and very hot and that was NOT good with my sun burn. Other than that, vast abundance of storage area and very comfortable beds. Fabulous room. We cannot compare with other boats or cruise line but we were very satisfied with our state room. Sure it is not as spacious as a resort room but we had plenty enough space to move around, also plenty of storage space for our clothes. Bathroom was of descent size with a full size shower. The Veranda was large enough to sit side by side and still have room to move around the chairs. Location in the middle of the ship minimized the effect of the roll and pitch when there was strong wind. Our veranda was angled toward the aft of the ship which reduces the wind coming in, granting us a comfortable stay enjoying sunsets or whatever time we decided to spent there. We were only steps away from the elevators and the staircases. So, it was a very good of stateroom thanks to the wise advise of our travel agent. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was great - a bit more space than on some of the other cruise lines we have been on. The balcony was a bit larger than many of the balconies because of the angle - we had space for 4 chairs. The cabin attendant was great - very attentive. Read entire member review >>
Nice clean cabin. Just around the corner from the Internet lounge and elevators as well as stairways. We never heard noise in the hall. We had plenty of storage space and even the bathroom has a surprising amount of storage space. Our cabin steward and his assistant were very unobtrusive, yet friendly and efficient. That cabin has a great deck, a bit oversized, and the positioning of it makes it fairly private. Loved the cabin. Read entire member review >>
We had a lovely cabin with a large balcony. It was very quiet. There is not much room between the king bed and the wall. A large person might have difficulty getting past that spot. Even though this cabin supposedly holds four guests, I cannot see more than two people being comfortable for an entire week. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was on the edge of the hump - it had a really deep Balcony which is a bonus. The other plus is that it is near to the Elevators but even though I'm a light sleeper it was very quiet. Read entire member review >>
Ample storage in bathroom, ample hangers and space in closet if you are creative and double-up, storage above the bed and under the bed, 3 medium-size drawers beside the mini-frig, one small drawer under the desk area; comfy bed with our requested egg-crate topper; 2 tiny tables on both sides of the bed; extremely quiet area of the ship; no ship movement experienced; although the balcony facing slightly forward on the ship's "hump" was larger than some, there was too much wind to be comfortable. Very close to the elevators and adjacent to the coffee/tea room which was open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Read entire member review >>
We were in stateroom 9266, a starboard side verandah mid ships. The location was excellent except we learned port side would be better for this itinerary as we faced away from town at all ports where we docked . Because our cabin was in the "bump out" we had a larger balcony, which was appreciated. The stateroom was large enough and well appointed. There is a large closet and extra storage over the bed. The beds were high enough to fit our 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons under the bed. The only downside is there are 3 fairly small drawers to put away clothes so we had to access our suitcases regularly. The bathroom had lots of room to move around and loads of storage for toiletries, so much that we did not come close to using it all. The shower is also roomy. We were very pleased with the in-room entertainment as there are a large number of first run movies available on demand as well as the largest number of TV channels available we have experienced to date. Great room - very comfortable bed - lots of cubbies for stowing stuff so the room stays neater - great cabin steward - he had our distilled water and an extension cord ready and waiting for our C-Pap machines. Read entire member review >>
Large bed, excellent balcony -- room for two reclining deck chairs and a table, felt very spacious compared to what we've heard about many ship rooms. Room attendants did an awesome job of maintaining. This about 2/3 of the way back on the ship port side. It was quiet both from the hallway side and sitting on the balcony. Starboard Aft ... with larger balcony than standard balcony room. Great view to the left, blocked view to the right since the direct aft cabin jets out a bit. Bed located near slider. One "adequate" closet, three small drawers and two overhead bins in "hard to reach" spot over bed. Poor storage overall. Would not suit three people in cabin. This cabin had a cramped feel as dressing table is close to entrance door. Balcony's where bed is forward in the room and couch, dressing table and drawer's near slider ... looked bigger ( but were same size). Nice, spacious bathroom with curved, hard shower door. Lots of drawers and shelves.
Bathroom towels were particularly chintzy, small and not luxurious at all.
Aft bedrooms require a lot of walking to nearest elevators in midsection. There are no stairs in the aftsection either. It is particularly annoying to have to walk to the midsection to get to stairs and elevators, only to have to walk aft to get to Main Dining Room on decks 3/4. The "design goof" of not having stairs or elevators in the aft made us wonder in the case of an emergency whether aft passengers safety was compromised? Read entire member review >>
Very very far in the front. Be prepared to walk a lot!
Closet- the worst. Too small- faces the wrong direction. No place for shoes.
Great large bed! Good storage in bathroom! Cabin so narrow in front of the sofa, we had to put the table against the wall in order the pass one another. Nice veranda with adjustable chairs. Great TV, large size to be enjoyed in bed and from the sofa. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8226 is on the hump, Category 1A. Is identical to all other balcony cabins except that the balcony itself is over twice the size of standard balconies. Faces forward, so you can see where the ship is headed but you can't see the back of the ship and the balcony had mostly shade during the day. Read entire member review >>
Balcony cabin was very nice. This cabin had an extra-large balcony which was spacious and allowed me to do my yoga. The cabin served as a refuge from the crowded conditions in the rest of the ship. Read entire member review >>
Good storage space, comfortable bed, fantastic double depth balcony with table high enough to eat from and two chairs that lay flat.
Flat screen interactive TV.
Quiet location close to lifts. Read entire member review >>
