Shortened cruise to 4 days; too short

We like to go out of San Juan great pre-cruise island and beaches stayed 5 days before cruise. Plus the cruise has more islands less sea days. Our 4th on Summit great ship love itinary of southern caribbean wish there were more choises out of San Juan. The C1 cabins with the larger balcony in the rear of the ship are well worth it and are only on Millennium class ships they are around 250 ...

Many problems with this cruise

We chose the cruise for it's perfect duration (5 days) to an area we felt we would enjoy. The week before departure, we were informed that it would leave a day late due to mechanical problems. This cannot be helped, but was very disappointing. They did pay for our accomodations in San Juan, and reimburse the day we missed, and an additional sum valued at half of a day as additional ...

This was a charter with Star Vista 70's Rock and Romance Cruise. It was our first cruise ever and we truly enjoyed it. Since Star Vista takes care of the entertainment and activities I won't comment except to say their staff was wonderful and the entertainment was exceptional. Celebrity's staff was also wonderful, very informative and polite. We had a Sky Suite which was larger than most ...

Up on Saturday for another bright and sunny mid 80s March day in Florida and boarding the Celebrity Summit cruise ship for five days of 1970s era live music.  Dropped the Mazda off and taxi'd a couple miles from the airport to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Along with a few other ships, we pulled out at 5pm with a DJ playing hits from the 70s by the pool.  DJ?  When he finished and Barry ...

C- For Wheelchair Accessibility and in Dire Need of Updates

I sailed on the Celebrity Summit last week for the "Rock and Romance Cruise' which was a charter hosted by StarVista Live. I require a wheelchair accessible stateroom and I was not impressed with many of the aspects of our cabin. The size of the room did not allow a comfortable amount of space for maneuvering my chair around the cabin. The bed was 3 inches lower than the height of my ...

The music on this cruise was FABULOUS! Our onboard experience was the BEST! We had our Vows renewed and the ceremony was officiated by Barry Williams (Greg Brady from the Brady Bunch). The food was good but not spectacular. We had dinner one night in the Tuscan grill and I was a little disappointed in the menu. The fresh pasta was delicious but I was hoping they would have offered sautéed ...

Rock and Romance 2017- great concerts, but bad schedules

My friends and I were so excited to book this cruise with ocean view staterooms next door to each other, four gals who love a great time and this music we grew up with. This was the first cruise for all four of us so we have nothing to compare it to, but I can tell you I will not likely be using Celebrity again. The boat was great, stateroom was cozy, but they didn't separate the beds so my ...

My partner and I decided to go on the Soul Train Cruise obviously for the music first, but since the ship was going to Belize, Cozumel and Grand Bahamas, we thought why not. The entertainment was wonderful, the ship was a bit old, but we had a balcony room, which was nice, the breakfast was the best, lunch and dinner offered the same meals each day, I would definitely suggest more of a variety in ...

Boat Trip To Mexico

My wife and I were passengers aboard the Celebrity Summit for the recent Soul Train Cruise. I say cruise, but unfortunately it was a boat ride to Mexico due to the ship not being fir for purpose for 5 out of the 7 days of the trip. Having spent in the region of $14,000 dollars to fund the trip of a lifetime, I got a trip to Mexico, which I could have done for considerably less from the UK (in the ...

Wow, what a great cruise. I’ll preface this with we went on the same cruise last year. Also, it was a Charter and left on the 27th of February and was 5 days. Arriving at Port Everglades, we found Starvista had a great backdrop for pictures. A VW bus flower-powered out. We were handed hard cover day planners and had to find awkward places to carry them on. With carryon bags, noodles, et ...
