Not impressed!!

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

Have seen various reviews of Celebrity and decided to try it for our 50th anniversary. We are experienced cruisers (over 60 cruises on 5 different lines) and were disappointed in the concierge veranda stateroom. 1st- the closet for our clothes is too small for all of our clothes (11 day trip), 2nd- the hanger system is enough to infuriate a person who is used to a system where one can remove ...

Celebrity Cruises Has Gone Way Down Hill :(

We chose this cruise based on a great past cruise with Celebrity and the itinerary which included nine ports in eleven days. Sadly, the quality of service, food, food presentation and entertainment have all gone way downhill since our last cruise. From embarkation in San Diego to returning to the ship after our last full day in Victoria BC, we encountered problems literally every other day. Most ...

Northbound San Diego to Vancouver on Infinity

Pick this because of the unique schedule of ports going up the west coast to Vancouver. Celebrity Elite cruisers. Third cruise on the Infinity, from its first days in Alaska to South America and this one. Guest entertainment was very good. On board production shows were a little bit rough. Live band at shows was great. Lack of music around ship pre-dinner was noticeable. When there was ...

We have done several cruises in the past 3 years and one of them just entered the first lock and turned around. We enjoyed the passage so much we decided to do it all. The lectures on board made it even more enjoyable. We started off right across the ship at the Marriott Bayside. Very easy to walk to the ship. Embarkation was pretty typical, a real pain in the neck. Nothing nice to say ...

Great Bucket List Cruise with a few minor issues. Outstanding Staff and Crew!

Getting on the ship and to the room went very well. Noticed strong mildew smell and worked with staff and Concierge through various solutions. Ended up being lucky enough to switch rooms and the new is what this review is based on. Tipping: 1st time with Celebrity and the lack of tickets meant I had to carry cash with money wasting away in my account. I was told I could do an extra tip for ...

Wonderful cruise through the Panama Canal!

The destination and cruise line drew us to this cruise. We are very fond of Celebrity cruises, and have wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise for a long while. We were not disappointed with this cruise! This was our first experience with a balcony, and as well in Aqua class, and we loved it. The benefit we most enjoyed with this category was dining in the Blu restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We ...

My sister and I shared a bedroom while we were growing up, and had a crap relationship, so imagine my delight when we shared a smallish cabin and got along swimmingly. Firstly, I want to thank my sister Nancy and all our Trivia buddies (Kevin, Roger, Rodger, and Richard) for enabling us to capture the Celebrity Gold Metal for progressive trivia. We did, however, tie with an English couple. ...

This was a wonderful cruise! The age of fellow cruisers was a bit older than I expected and found that I was in the young crowd at the age of 50. The fellow cruisers were a great mix of people from around the world. So many interesting and fun people on board. Many of the stops were a first for me and the transit through the Panama Canal was very interesting. I would definitely recommend this ...

A poorly maintained understaffed ship

Most of critique is placed under cabin. We liked some features of this ship, but in general did not like it and will not return. The least of it was the heavily accented personnel with limited English who manned the telephones in CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The sea days were good but we have grown to expect more than one lecturer and some stimulating topics. We greatly enjoyed learning about emeralds ...
