This was our second cruise on the Reflection and we enjoyed it even more the second time. Boarding at Civitavecchia was easy and quick. The ship is in excellent shape. The food in the dining room was excellent and varied, we had the Classic Drinking Package which was very convenient, we took full advantage of it. Our Cabin Steward was outstanding, thx Finton. Our Balcony Cabin was well ...

Overall, it was an amazing trip. We were impressed with the spaciousness of the room, the cleanliness and overall staff engagement. We recommend you determine what you want from your vacation. Our goal with this cruise was to see new places, learn and see history but most importantly relax and have a luxurious 5-star experience. While this cruise is 10-days, make no mistake it's a ...

We choose this cruise based on the ports. It had longer times in port and went to almost every destination we wanted within 10 days. We were very impressed with our embarkation when we were allowed to board and dine with our friends who were in a lower class than us. We were concierge and they were veranda. The staff in general were very attentive and not pushy to sell things which made ...

My husband and I have been wanting to do a Mediterranean cruise for many years, but just kept putting in off, due to the dreaded long flight from U.S. to Rome. OMG, this cruise was amazing. We arrived one day prior in Rome, so much to see and do, please plan at least three full days for Rome. The port is about 90 miles from Rome. So, plan ahead on travel time. Our private taxi dropped us off ...

A. Tour of Ship and Search For Food The ship is gorgeous, and really well laid out with ample sets of stairwells and elevators. 8 elevators can be found midship with 3 additional elevators forward. We found sustenance in the Oceanview Cafe on the Deck 14 for a buffet lunch. B. Dinner in the Main Dining Room - 6:00 pm "First Seating" Opus Restaurant is the main dining room (MDR), located ...

Wonderful cruise for our honeymoon.

We like Celebrity and this was a dream come true itinerary for our honeymoon. Reflection is a beautiful ship and her crew is fantastic. We ate at almost every venue that the ship has to offer, from the Oceanview Cafe (buffet) to the specialty restaurant Murano. (We were in a standard cabin, so no Blu or Luminae for us.) We were underwhelmed with our dinner at the Lawn Club Grill, but everywhere ...

Airport scrum

Early flight meant a taxi pick up at 2.30am arrived and printed boarding cards then had to wait an hour for the bag check in to open. That done another wait for the gate number , boarding was the usual scrum ( why does it have to be like that? ) luckily Rome is only a 2 hour flight so avoided the extras on food and drink. On arrival we were impressed with the number of celebrity staff on hand to ...

The itinerary of this cruise is good, but affected by the closure of open decks in the hours of darkness for three nights while passing through the Gulf of Aden. The Blu restaurant exclusive to Aqua passengers was excellent entirely as expected, with an excellent maitre D. The buffet cafeteria standard of food was poor and bland. Often food was awkward to even reach due to the layout of ...

We selected this cruise because of the itinerary and ports of call. Going through the Suez Canal was one of the highlights of this trip, as was the visit to Petr in Jordan. There were 5 straight days at sea, but that was no problem since there was a wide variety of activities to choose from. We were pleased to find that there were ample deck chairs available on sea days. We found the staff ...

New places to visit and new cultures to experience. The ports of call were excellent and the time in its port adequate for the tours planned. The crew was good for the most part although attention to detail was lacking. The ship was clean and the housekeeping did a great job. The Hotel manager was visible but not engaged. The Staff Captain did a great job keeping the crew doing their duties as ...
