I chose this cruise because a group of us wanted to visit countries the apostles did their missions. The installation were very good, good options were also good and the service in the rooms was the best. Our allocated attendee Dewi was the best o ever had in any hotel or cruise.
Seat down dinner was also a treat. The food selection was good and our waiters Arman, Linda and Adrian made our ...
We chose those cruise because it was going to places that we wanted to visit and also ports we have never been to be. Right from start it was horrific. We arrived at Rome port to find the ship not there. We were told there would be at least a delay of 6 hours due to bad weather. During that wait, which the cruise company were aware of all we were offered was a small bottle of water and a small ...
We chose this cruise because we have done several transatlantics and really enjoyed them. We flew to Rome 2 days early and stayed at the Hotel Diocleziano. We chose this hotel as it is located near Teremini Train Station as we took the train to the port. We had been to Rome several times so we just did our own thing. Really enjoyed outdoor cafes and restaurants.
The train to Civitavecchia ...
My wife Coby and I chose this transatlantic cruise to celebrate our retirement and take a journey we've never taken before.
Some highlights.
Booked directly through Celebrity including Celebrity Air flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Charlotte to Rome.
Couldn't have been looked after better.
Greater by two Celebrity reps before we cleared customs who immediately took over looked after our ...
This was our second cruise on the Celebrity Reflection but our first Transatlantic crossing. We were in a balcony cabin on Deck 8. The ship itself is already several years old but it could have been brand new; it is very well kept and spotlessly clean. Because it was a 14 night cruise in October, the passengers seemed to be mostly retired, in their 60s and older. There were virtually no children ...
We cruised on Celebrity Millenium 10+ years ago and still remember the outstanding experience. We anticipated the same high quality service level and entertainment existed today, alas not.
The nightly shows in the theater were fair -- the ship's cast of singers (Broken Strings show) and show guests (We3Vocal, Divalution (Lauren Tidbit was the only good singer), Gid Pool). The ship's cast was ...
Will start my review saying that we were a group of 9 friends who started our trip with a two night stay in Rome then we headed to port to begin our Celebrity experience. We all felt the food and service in the bars and dining area was very good. Cold beer was a problem for three of our group. Never could find one. Bar service poolside was very slow but all the staff was super friendly. We were ...
To begin with the positives, We enjoyed some parts of the cruise, it was a 11 night cruise and the ports, excursions and dining staff were fantastic.
However, our last night we encountered horrible weather and had to dock in La Spezia missing our last two ports. Our ship broke the moorings on the dock and drifted away in the wind causing it to bump into the neighboring ship. Our family was ...
We are experienced Celebrity cruisers and have sailed with them many times. We chose this itinery because of the ports that were scheduled to be visited by the Constellation. The ship is a Millennium class ship and we have sailed on it twice before.
Embarkation was relatively straightforward in Civitavecchia, and because of the time we arrived at, around lunchtime, we got to our balcony cabin ...
Celebrity Constellation – Sailing date 19th October 2018
Having booked several Celebrity cruises over last 4 years we decided we will never cruise with Celebrity again. Let me explain why.
The good
Without a shadow of a doubt, the best thing about Celebrity (with a few exceptions) is its very hardworking and dedicated staff.
The bad
(1) The food on Celebrity used to be oh so ...
