We took a big family cruise together and were very excited for this new edge class ship by celebrity.
The main concern is we got food poisoning and were suffering for 2 days afterward. We specifically did not eat in port to take advantage of the supposed good food on the ship. Worst part is my 4 year old was also affected.

The cruise experience is terrible on this ship with fun prohibited at every turn
- one small pool for 3000 guests to fight over
- pool marshals warn kids not to splash, just sit and be quiet NO FUN

Sailed Aug 10 on 9 day western Caribbean cruise from Rome. As a point of reference I’m 73 yrs old and my lady and I have been on several cruises over the years on different cruise lines. Last year we sailed on the Solstice on an Alaska cruise and it was our favorite ship to date.

We were three adults all over fifty years of age. We each had a stateroom to ourselves. There are no complaints about the ship and its amenities. It is beautiful and impressive. The food was enjoyable.

Oh my goodness there are some whingers reviewing Edge. Ignore them!
Ship - beautiful and ultra modern
Cabin - modern & spacious. We loved the IV as you get the best of both worlds. Great light in the room. Window was never locked by the captain!! Blackout and mood lighting was v cool. Bathroom was fabulous. Spacious. Double sink. Big shower cubicle.
