We took a 7 day cruise to Alaska on celebrity Millennium. Ship was old and needed to be updated. Shore excursions were very expensive for what they offered. We stayed in Manhattan for three nights prior to boarding the cruise. I found it difficult to find information on how to best get to the port, but definitely have a car service get you there.
