Cabin 6307
Our cabin was a corner aft Sky Suite 6307. This stateroom has the narrow, long strip veranda, instead of the small squares that extend most staterooms. We adjusted and made good use of the space for relaxing and exercising. The only noise problem occurred in the pre-dawn hours the last morning as we ported in Miami. We found the cabin to be quiet and secluded, which suited our family of three. We enjoyed the large porthole which provided additional glass for the ample sunshine to coming streaming inward.

Just do it. You will love the extra porthole, the extra space, and the butler service. Hot breakfast on the deck delivered by your butler (everyone else gets room service delivered in bulk, so not hot, etc) Butler gets you into restaurants when you want. No hassles.

We chose a suite for the extra benefits. We found it to be more spacious than expected, especially as the sofa bed was put away while we were at breakfast. Enough room under the bed to stow 4 large suitcases and smaller cases inside them. Just enough space for four lots of clothes and lots of places in the bathroom. Cabin was spotless. Bed large and comfy. Sofa bed not as good but passable. Balcony good size and being aft on the corner was great for sailaways. Port or starboard made no difference to views on this cruise. For those of us prone to seasickness having a steady horizon and receding waters was better than side view. When sailing above 15 knots at night there was a fair bit of vibration as over propellers, even on 8th deck. I used earplugs, my family didn't. If we cruise again, we would have the same suite.

Cabin 2165
Avoid this cabin unless you don't mind hearing a lot of noise. The cabin itself is terrific, especially because the balcony is in the stretch-out area of the ship and is slightly larger than most balconies. But the trade-off is that you'll hear all the music from the lobby, as well as the commotion at the elevators from this stateroom. Other than that, it's great.

Cabin 7309

Bright large room that is very noisy, toofar from the elevators and gets sprinkled with soot from the stacks every day. Not only is it not worth the money, but there should be a discount to take this cabin.

Great balcony, large room, full bathroom, soot on deck sometimes.

Cabin 1688
Cabin 1688 is a corner Sky Suite on deck 11. Lovely room with a side window and large balcony. Window washing equipment blocks the view from the balcony though so be aware that your perfect picture may be blocked by some equipment. Also, the neighbor's toilet vacuum system seems to be in your room so each time my neighbor flushed, it was loud. The room though is spacious and the bathroom large with a full bath tub and overhead rain shower head.
