AREA: Starboard Aft BED NEAR: Balcony QUIET?: Yes BALCONY VIEW: Looking down and somewhat out to the blue roof of the restaurant that is below the cabin. You can look out to the water and to the scenery, but if you want to look straight down, then this is not the cabin for you. Likewise, I doubt that any cabins above this one can look STRAIGHT down. BALCONY SIZE: Somewhat larger than the standard balcony due to the location. WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Make sure your Fitbit is charged, because you will rack up steps walking to this cabin. It's very far from the elevators as it is nearly at the back of the ship. It's very quiet at the back as you don't have many folks walking past your room. We loved our room attendants and the larger balcony. Only con was the long walk when you just want to quickly drop off something to your cabin. Otherwise, I would book this cabin again. Toiletries in the bathroom: shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion (Gilchrist and Soames), as well as tissues. There were no cotton balls or q-tips. The hairdryer, a hotly debated topic on this board, was fine for us as it has been in the past.

Good mid-ship location, obstruction only a problem if you're looking directly down, not much storage space.

Cabin 6156
Great location! No noise from the elevators. It's one of the angled balconies and could fit four chairs. It was nicely sheltered from the wind while the ship was moving but didn't feel stuffy while we were docked. The tender is directly below the balcony but didn't noticably impair our view.

Room: we were 4 to this room - obstructed balcony on deck 6. We didn't feel that crowded. The cabin and bathroom were so well laid out we were fine. No worries. In room movies were excellent. Lots of choice for all.

The cabin was very spacious. We were able to store all our things. We had a balcony with an obstructed view, but it was fine.

Cabin 6218
Our cabin was very spacious. We had plenty of room for our clothes in drawers. The double bar in the closet was especially helpful. We were very pleased with the spaciousness of the bathroom. And I have never experienced such a large shower. The glass door was far superior to a clinging, hanging shower curtain.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean and well looked after by the stewards. There is ample room for hanging clothes, however, very few drawers for clothes not requiring to be hung up. I would suggest bringing collapsible bins that you could place in the bottom of the closet.

Cabin 6291
We had Stateroom 6291, mid ship. It was a great location but I would recommend if you are looking for a balcony mid ship that you go one or two floors higher as the life boats did block our view and was not the nicest to look at daily. If you do choose the 6th floor try to get something aft or forward past the life boats and you will be fine. Our Stateroom was gorgeous and quite spacious for three people. The bathrooms are the nicest we have had on a cruise by far and quite spacious considering.

Balcony cabin was very clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space. No complaints. Francis our Stateroom Attendant was very helpful.

Cabin 6256
Balcony; was one of the best we have had. Toilet had plenty of room and a shower with a door was an improvement. The shower itself was also powerful and different to what we have become accustomed. The actual balcony area was very small and could just about seat 2 and was the poorest we have experienced,

Very Disappointed HOFFMEISTER
The cabin was excellent with a larger than average balcony and had a lovely shower room. This was the best bit of the cruise.

Decent Cruise wahwah1
Partially obstructed. There is half of the view non-obstructed (e.g. you could look down) and half of the view obstructed by the boat. Air conditioning is poor. We had to turn to the lowest temperature every day and still felt stuffy. However, the room starts to cool off by 4 am in the middle of the night.

Loved it! dancewithmarg

Lovely cabin, always kept clean by Jesus. View directly below to water obstructed by lifeboat, but didn't make any difference to our enjoyment of sitting on the veranda looking out across the beautiful blue water or seeing the scenery when coming into port. Bed was really comfortable, I usually have trouble sleeping the first night in a strange bed, but no problems here. Large bathroom and shower, always lots of hot water, clean towels and toiletries supplied. A+

Cabin 7200

Beautiful cabin and love the layout with the bed closer to the bathroom and the sitting area near the veranda. Great views from our cabin.. unobstructed view. Convenient location by the elevator, and never heard a sound outside of our cabin!!!!

Cabin 6158

Our stateroom on deck 6 was comfortable, well kept and clean. The life boats on deck 5 below us were not an obstruction. Veranda provided access to fresh air and a quiet space in which to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The stateroom attendant did a really good job at keeping everything in order. We were greeted every morning and evening by our stateroom attendant who was always available to address our needs and make our stay comfortable.

Cabin 6255

Storage above the beds is not convenient for short people.
On deck 5 aft port side is the smokers corner situated. On the upper decks you can sometimes smell the odour of cigarettes when you are out on the balcony. But we will not deprive the smokers their last corner on the ship.

Cabin 6165
February lrp1929
Our view was vertically blocked by the lifeboats on the next deck down. Storage space limited. Cabin was quiet and service was great. Fairly short walk to the elevator but it was at the stern of the ship so a long walk to the center of the ship and to the bow.

Cabin 8138
Cabin 8138 - Deluxe Ocean View. Excellent cabin choice. Very quiet - no noise from above or below. Very close to forward elevators but no issues with noise from elevators. Bed close to balcony.

Cabin 1003
Cabin 1003 is port side forward and only two cabins behind the ship's bridge so the bridge personnel can see into your balcony. Was not a big problem but it was far from private. The cabin was ok but just ok. A bit smaller than I had imagined and the closet space was tight. The bathroom, also small, did have a nice feature to the shower with a sliding glass door instead of a curtain and the shower itself was really quite large for the cabin size.
