The cabin was small. The bathroom was small. There just on the tiles near the floor in the shower. There was an odor from the water in the shower. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The glass on the balcony was filthy and not cleaned until Day 5. Read entire member review >>
Our oceanview cabin was not as spacious as other ships we had sailed on. There was a lack of wardrobe space and the bathroom was small. It was also dangerous having no shower door just a step which I tripped over twice. On both occasions I had my back to the shower and was trying to pick-up something from the floor and I ended up on my back banging my head on the shower floor. There is no shower gel - we were told that this was not supplied to standard cabins. And the toilet paper was cheap and thin. Read entire member review >>

On both occasions I had my back to the shower and was trying to pick-up something from the floor and I ended up on my back banging my head on the shower floor. I am not sure whether being below average height meant that I was more prone to trip over the step backwards but whatever the reason it was dangerous and very painful. We did not have any shower gel because - we were told - we were in a standard cabin. The toilet paper was cheap and thin. Read entire member review >>
Clean, nothing special. Tiny TV with control that didn't work. We sent out for new ones but never heard anything back and went to bed. I called the next morning and without explanation the remote was returned with new batteries. Read entire member review >>
I stayed in 7175 which has a larger than average balcony. Loved the view and having the extra balcony space was nice. The room is next to the aft elevator bank, so you can hear the elevator noise, but for me it wasn't a big deal. There were four of us in this room. There's a bed that comes out of the wall for the third person and the arm chair folds out to become a bed for the fourth person. It was cramped with four people, but doable. We don't spend that much time in the room anyway.
Our veranda room had a decent amount of storage space. We had four rolling carry-on luggages of stuff and I thought storage was pretty good considering how many people we were fitting in the room. I appreciated the ample space to hang up clothes in the closet. There are only plugs by the balcony door (plus I'm guessing there was one in the bathroom, but I don't remember), so if you want to use the plug by the beds, bring an extension cord.
Bathroom was kept clean, but it seemed more like what I'd expect from a Day's Inn (this was my first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to). No body wash, so if you prefer to use liquid soap over bar soap, bring your own. There was a laundry line in the shower, which was really convenient. It detactched from the wall, so I often strung it through the bathing suits to dry since I didn't bring clothes pins. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was an Ocean View Stateroom on the lowest level. It was on the left and forward from the front bank of elevators. It was easy to get to the elevators and didn't have much traffic in the hall as there were only a few cabins in that direction before it went to crew and staff quarters. In retrospect it has to be the best cabin on the ship for a Panama Canal transit (don't tell them because they might start charging more for it). When traversing the locks in the canal we were all over the ship to see everything and get the right pictures. Exhausting. However, during one short break in our cabin we were able to watch the side of the lock go up as the ship went down. The poor people in their upper level balconies certainly can't get that unique view. Read entire member review >>
Being low and in the center was helpful when we were in rough water. The large, round window was nice. Noise from the crew quarters was a little irritating, but nothing I chose to complain about. These cabins are a little smaller than on some other ships, but adequate. A bit larger couch would be nice (single bed pullout). This cabin would be way too small for 3 adults.
