cabin furnishings were VERY worn and tearing. Had the throw pillows removed because they were tattered and old. Mattress on the COT was old and thin. There were metal fixtures at the end of the beds - when squeezing through area between ends of the cots and wall, to get to other side of the cabin, hit shins and calves on them.
Had to request bedding be replaced because it smelled of dust.
Cabin was too small.
The cabin was kept clean and the carpeting looked new. Read entire member review >>
My husband didn't like the overhang. However I did- it kept wind, sun and rain off of us. typical Aqua cabin- the bed was not as comfortable as I recall and the TV remote didn't work. Because of scrub down of ship- we did not have robes and the pillows were not as ordered. We had to frequently ask for spare roll of toilet paper or bath amenities which was surprising since I don't expect to ask for such at this level of service. Read entire member review >>
Shower area showed some mold and water pressure was never enough to run all those jets and head at the same time on the fancy shower contraption.
Plenty of storage room, outlets and comfort. Mirrors galore!
The large overhang over the veranda it's a plus on foul weather but limits your overall view, specially while going through the glaciers and fjord passages. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 9106- All Aqua 2 cabins are under the Lido deck so noise can be a problem. This particular cabin was under a prep area so there was a lot of after hours noise. Location was good. Cabin had good storage and size was adequate. Could have used a shower head with a stronger stream. Average size balcony with good visibility due to supports being further apart and less overhang. Our cabin was just ok. We kind of expected a little bit nicer cabin in Aqua class, but it was adequate. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space. The veranda was not as large as verandas on other Celebrity ships we have been on, but once again it was adequate. Now here is our big beef regarding our cabin and it has to do with items in the cabin and not the cabin itself. The bath robes provided were worn out. They had holes in them. We woke up one morning to find our bottom sheet had ripped and upon checking it out found it was pretty thread bare. The floor mats provided in the bathroom were unraveling. We paid extra to be in Aqua class and expected a better experience in our room than we received. In addition toward the end of the cruise the door of our room started creaking and became quite annoying, much like a dripping faucet. Read entire member review >>
Pros: Very large cabin. Lots of closet space. Lots of cupboards. Fair size balcony. 2 free bottles of water a day. Blu!
Cons: Shower leaked EVERYWHERE!
While the overhang is nice to keep the rain off you it also blocks the scenery. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin in Aqua class was sufficiently sized and the veranda furnishings provided nice comfort from which to enjoy the views of the inside passage islands, whales & glaciers. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom adequately sized with a very fine shower that had a great shower head/multi-spray combination. There was more than ample space for stowing luggage (under the beds) & clothing (large armoire closet). Our specific cabin was on the starboard (right) side, slightly forward of amidships . . . I recommend the starboard side because there are no inside cabins that open onto the passageway on that side of the ship, making that passageway less crowded. Read entire member review >>
9137 was in good repair. Small but you could turn around in the shower, yeah! Balcony has obstructed view due to deck ten overhang and support beams. Balcony completely shaded. Read entire member review >>
