Chose this cruise to see Alaska and the Hubbard Glacier. The Infinity is an older and smaller ship than others we'd been on and certainly had less to offer than the bigger ships. The main dining area felt claustrophobic and the buffet area was very difficult to maneuver through when busy. The cabin was clean but smaller than we'd had on previous Celebrity cruises. Entertainment was always great. ...
We spent a few days in Seattle before making our way to Vancouver for embarking on our cruise. Seattle was spectacular and we loved it! We were so excited for our adventures to begin. After arriving at the port, the boarding process wasn’t that awful and after 2hrs. We were on our way onto the ship and ready to explore... The ship overall is slightly dated and it shows. Our cabin was ok but smaller ...
The Alaskan cruise exceeded our expectations- the ship was full of friendly and helpful staff- cleanliness was excellent as was the food and service. The restaurants are well laid out so you are not included in another table’s conversation - unless you want to be. The food was very good with an extensive evening menu. The buffet was also good and constantly refilled with fresh and tasty food. The ...
We just completed the seven-day Hubbard Glacier Cruise, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The itinerary was excellent, and we were very fortunate to have great weather. I’d highly recommend it as a quiet respite from hot summer weather in the Lower 48.
Embarkation and disembarkation in Vancouver were seamless. I’d highly recommend spending some time in Vancouver before or after the cruise, as it ...
We have been on two cruises to Alaska but never in the summer. Whilst overall the cruise was very good some things on Infinity need attention. Cabins need updating. We were on the Infinity about 5 years ago and the cabins were still the same. We booked an Aqua class cabin and this entitled us to eat In the Blu restaurant. I cannot praise Blu highly enough. The food, staff and service were all ...
This cruise on Celebrity Infinity was part of a package arranged to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Having been on Celebrity Eclipse in the Caribbean in 2017 we expected a really nice ship and the Infinity lived up to our expectations. Everything was first class from the silky smooth check-in, our cabin to the entertainment. The unrestricted views from cabin were ...
Spent three days in Vancouver prior to the cruise. Embarkation was a nightmare, long queues. Carried our own bags when leaving therefore disembarkation went smoothly.
The ship is tired looking, cabin was clean although the curtains, bed valance were torn. Bathroom had a musty smell which was sorted by our cleaner.
Dining room was fine, great service and food was ok, ate here for breakfast ...
Just got back from a wonderful Alaska cruise.Never been or wanted to do cruising but wanted to see Alaska so decided to go for it,what a fabulous trip!! From check in too disembarkation was so smooth ,have to just mention the taxi queues are horrendous once you get off the ship.
The ship was called Infinity what a wonderful comfortable ship,my husband and I had a balcony cabin which had plenty ...
We choose this cruise as it was the best way to see Alaska. The trip was amazing, seeing the Glacier at Hubbard was something very special we will never forget.
we loved the towns we stopped in and would like to visit these places again to spend more time there.
The service on the boat was excellent and our and our room attendant Amett was lovely and very helpful. Food on board was great, ...
I would't suggest this trip for young people. Most activities on the ship was boring ..only good part was buffet. By end of the trip i checked my bank account and noticed that they took 260$ US for tips ! it was shocking because I wasn't aware of this charge and gave tips separately for service. Also AC in my cabin didn't work during 24 hr and they were fixing it whole day but they could't so we ...
