We went on this cruise with 20 family members for a 50th anniversary. As soon as we boarded we were constantly harassed by crew members trying to sell something. This was our 3rd cruise (first and last on Celebrity). The first 2 days were the worse with hard sell pushes for drink/spa/dinning packages. After that we only saw the sell pitch when going to meals or watching their TV.

We chose this as a recommendation from friends. It was reasonably affordable and offered above and beyond service by all attendants on the ship. Super clean. Excellent food! We were offered a window seat every evening in the dining room. The drink/ wine prices were very reasonable, in fact so much that it didn't make any sense to purchase a drinks package.

The cruise met my expectations, and the food and most of the entertainment exceeded them. I was a little disappointed that the last two nights they only had karaoke instead of an end of cruise party. Turned out the big event and highlight meal was on Thursday night (we docked Sunday morning).We didn't know so missed both as it had been a long day in Juneau.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, first; then for the value. It was an older ship, but in excellent condition. I've been on other ships that pleased me more, aesthetically; but it was very good, nonetheless.
Embarkation in Vancouver went smoothly, although someone with mobility issues would find the walking distance difficult. No steep inclines, though.
