Excellent First Celebrity Cruise Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We had a great time on this cruise! While this itinerary’s ports of call were not amazing, it was more than made up for by the ship, her crew, and the whole Celebrity experience. The ship’s design is well thought out and modern, but there are dated aspects that seem disjointed and exhibit the fact that the ship’s Revolutionization was not completed. An example of this is the aesthetic design ...

In anticipation of our cruise, I read and reread all the reviews I could find on the Equinox. I appreciated the time cruisers took to give a review and want to "Pass it Forward" with our own cruise review. My husband and I flew in one day early to Ft. Lauderdale. We stayed at The Riverside Hotel on Las Olas. Great Hotel. We recommend it. We arrived at the pier probably around 11:30, road ...

Pure Bliss on Edge in an Edge Villa

We booked the cruise in September when I discovered a great deal on a suite guarantee and realized it was a Moveable Feast special cruise. I participated in Celebrity's MoveUp bid program and was successful on my bid to upgrade to the Edge Villa. We flew in to Fort Lauderdale the night before embarkation and stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport. The best part about the hotel was it offered free ...

We chose this cruise because I had heard so much about the innovative design. We were assigned cabin 7206 which was listed as an infinite veranda. We always get ocean front veranda cabins which typically provide close to 180 degree views. This cabin provided about 80 degrees. (see photo our our view) Directly next door was an extended cabin that supported the superstructure for the magic ...

A Disappointment

Platinum cruiser with RCCL. Wanted to try something new and was confident going "upscale" to Celebrity would be a safe choice. IT WAS NOT! The ship is new and high tech. Embarkation and disembarkation was excellent. That is the best I can say about my cruise. The MDR food was very disappointing. Nothing wowed me at all. The buffet was also bland and boring. It continues with ...

We went on the ship having been on the Celebrity Infinity before. We knew the ship was new and wanted to see how the new high-tech ship was. We were very disappointed in: Entertainment. Ashley Amber was a good show as she sang Whitney Houston tunes well. However, the Hype group was rather loud and non-imaginative. And guess what, they performed on a different night as well.... YAY! ...

Edge is a bit of a disappointment

We have cruised many times on Celebrity (usually Aqua Class) , Oceania, Holland America and MSC. I consider myself an experienced cruiser but not an expert. If you are a novice cruiser, forget about reading reviews, you will enjoy the Edge. But if you have experience and have cruised other ships, especially the Solstice class, read on... THE EXCELLENT: -Embarkation, debarkation has been ...

Don't get me wrong, the ship is one of the most beautiful ones out there, but for me is one of those that experiencing once will be enough. Food was amazing I try every one except the Lumine and Blu. The buffet could have a bit more variety day by day. I did the cruise for the Movable Feast have to say it was super good I will do it again just for that hopefully the will do it in different ...

We were so looking forward to this cruise re all the hype it had been given before it was launched but for us it was disappointing on so many levels. As we are elite with Celebrity it figures that we have been on many cruises with them and have always enjoyed them. This one not so much. The ship itself is quite modern with some nice touches but It is also very expensive - drinks, speciality ...
