First, a little about us. These were my 14th & 15th Celebrity cruises- this is my favourite cruiseline! My husband and I are in our late 30s, and we were sailing with our 12 year old son, my parents, and my husband's mother. Our last Celebrity cruise was in 2017 since our 2020 was canceled because of covid-19, so it's been a few years, and we were interested to see what is new and what had ...
always thought Celebrity was great but bad experience on this past Mexican Riviera cruise - ship is outdated using old key card system and use cards in casino - very tight on rewards in casino too along with no smoking - not even a room nearby or a smoking lounge or they used to smoke on 1 side of slot area. Extremely rude Pitt Bosses. The limits are higher than Las Vegas making it harder for ...
We have sailed with Celebrity a few times and are always impressed with the ship, the crew, food, wine list and venues. While this ship is older we were surprised at how well she looks. Our stateroom was great, lots of storage and a really comfortable bed. Our dining room crew (table 149), Septian, Romal and wine steward, Vijit were all fabulous. They made our dining experience exceptional ...
We had not sailed on Celebrity for two years and had the opportunity to try the Celebrity Infinity. We were very happy with our choice. Yes, the ship is an older ship, however it is well maintained and to me, did not really show her age. The crew members were very friendly and helpful. It started with the Captain, who was very visible, gave daily updates and this is the only cruise I can remember, ...
Not having traveled since 2019, we decided to move up to the Retreat class. A few weeks before the cruise, we were notified by the shoreside concierge to look for a specific location to drop our luggage and that we would be escorted to the ship from there. Well, when we got to the ship and asked for this drop off area, no one knew what we were talking about so we dropped our bags with one of the ...
This was our second Celebrity Cruise -- we had taken a wonderful Baltic cruise with Celebrity before Covid. This cruise, to the Canadian Maritimes, was quite different. The food was meh, the shipboard entertainment was Carnival Cruise level, and it was clear the ship was severely understaffed. Our room steward was terrific. And the captain did an amazing job of communications and keeping us safe ...
This was our first & last cruise with Celebrity. We chose Celebrity due to cruise credits about to expire from a previous cancellation. We have previously cruised with Princess, Disney and Viking and would book with them again . Unfortunately our itinerary changed greatly due to Hurricane Fiona which we understood and has little bearing on this review. We also contracted covid halfway through ...
Many of the musical events were way too load. Mainly Zumba and the house band in the main foyer. There were many expensive stores but no place to buy necessities like ibuprofen, toothpaste, sunscreen etc. The free WIFI was pathetic and apparently the only way to make it usable was to upgrade for $200! The outside movie theater was not watchable. The ship was not fully booked, but the dining room ...
We bought a Celebrity package holiday to Canada and flew to Boston. We should have been met by a Celebrity rep at the airport to direct us to our hotel transfer. There was no one there and the tel number provided didn’t work. Although it was an airport hotel not that far away, we ended up walking with all of our luggage. When we contacted Celebrity they denied all knowledge of us having a ...
We were fortunate to get the Veranda Family Room and had an exceptional trip! All of the crew were friendly and efficient. We especially had great experiences with Francisco (room attendant) and the main dining room team (Wilson Jr., Mark and Samylle). They were friendly, professional and made it feel like you were visiting a friend when you encountered them. The food offered was delicious with ...
