Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

We love the Equinox and she didn't disappoint! While Celebrity shore-side service leaves a LOT to be desired, their sea-side service is still top shelf! Captain Theo is a very professional and personable leader who we saw mingling with his guests nearly every day of our 9-night voyage. He always wears a broad and genuine smile and is happy to interact with everyone all while running a tight ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

We're in our 70's and have been on 30 cruises, various lines, but mostly Princess. I figured Celebrity was similar and wanted to check them out since it'd been years since we'd done a Celebrity cruise. Each line has their own advantage. for us, it's the lack of children on both. We love children but not the chaos on a cruise ship. The ship itself was fine but I missed the grand foyer of ...

A Great Cruise on Grand Older Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

OK, I have read the previous reviews and yes this is a smaller, older ship that needs (and is scheduled for in 2024) refurbishment. As the cruise Director Dave noted "yes, we don't have all the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships, but we work hard to make up for it with excellent service and quality attention to detail". And he was dead on correct. Dave, by the way, was one of the most ...

Extremely nice crew, but…

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

The crew, including restaurants, bars, people who cleaned our suite, all were extremely friendly and efficient. We loved them! They went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. The bartenders in the casino immediately learned our drink preferences and made us drinks as soon as they saw us. The wait staff and sommelier in Luminae were amazing, too. They were attentive and ...

Cruising things to be aware of...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

First the ship is lovely, clean the staff is very friendly and very helpful. That part was terrific. I would give the staff 5 stars and the appearance of the ship 5 stars as well. However, things to be aware of... When they give you the internet package beware, the internet is awful even the premium is awful. So go with the mindset that you will not have wifi and you will be great. I was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Sailing from Tampa, arrival to the ship took almost 2 hours to go less than a mile. The embarking process went relatively smoothly albeit somewhat lengthy. Once in our Concierge cabin, despite repeated attempts we were unable to speak with the attendant until late the next afternoon - more than 24 hrs after arrival. (Most of the crew was terrific.) Cabin attendant was unreachable the entire cruise ...

I am a loyal Celebrity cruiser. Started sailing with Celebrity in the late 1990s, traveling with them to Hawaii in 2002, and Alaska 2005. My last criuse (before this one), was on the Celebrity Silhouette in Nov 2019, before the Covid pandemic, and that cruise was perfect. I just returned to cruising last week on the Celebrity Constellation, out of the Tampa port. Sadly to say, but this time ...

Just back from our cruise on the Celebrity Summit. The service was fantastic! My husband and I have cruised many times. Our friends who came with us had never cruised before. They loved it too. The ship was only at about 1/3 capacity so it never felt crowded which was great. The ship is beautiful. Our cabin steward did a great job and provided twice daily service. We chose anytime ...

This is our fourth cruise on the equinox and probably our last. Our cabin was in need of a deep cleaning, as dust and dirt buildup was evident in several places. The veranda had a lot of rust in multiple places and the railing had peeling varnish. Other verandas, around us, had foot stools to put your legs up. Ours did not. When I asked the room attendant about it, all he could do is ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

I did the Mexican Riviera Cruise from San Pedro (Port of Los Angeles) departing 10/29/22, returning 11/5/22. My assessment of the Cruise Line, Ship, and Service is very fresh. I originally booked/purchased a Veranda Room, on the 7th Floor, midship. I opted to participate in Move-Up and my bid was accepted to move up to Aqua Class. I had cruise credit, I purchased the fastest wifi, the ...
