Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

We chose this cruise as a quick way to get away to some warm weather. While the weather was clearly not Celebrity's doing, the experience was somewhat lacking. We were disappointed in the food in the Main dining room, (the Epernay) except for a couple of items and we were disappointed in the food in Tuscan Grill and Murano. We were also less than impressed with the service in the Main Dining room. ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

I actually won this cruise in a sweepstakes giveaway. The ship was very well maintained and clean. All ship staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. Decor of the ship wasn't very good. Sculptures and airwork around ship was very dull. What was the worse about this cruise was the food. Didn't go to any of the specialty dining but the grill by pool, the buffet, and the main dining room the food ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

We chose this cruise for the ship and the itinerary. Going into we knew she was old, however five months prior we were on the Infinity for a seven days cruise. It was excellent. So we went into it with all positives. Mistake. From no varletry in food nor wine to short staff. Note this was the first ship we used in 2004 with Celebrity. The food and service then was excellent. After 19 years my ...

Drastically Needed To Relax--Mission Accomplished

We've wanted to cruise Celebrity for three years and due to covid moved this cruise twice. We've had an hiatus of 5 years, our review compares some of our previous experiences, and what occurred in Feburary 2023. Let's also for the record indicate we are both now in our 70s, Cruising with Celebrity since 2000. Embarcation-fast, smooth, yeah for technology. I did have a problem seeing my sea ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Chose this ship due to an older crowd. Appreciated not having hardly any children running around. Have only been on Norwegian breakaway 4 years ago and there buffet was amazing. I am sure that Covid and the current economy had something to do with our experience on the constellation and will have to say the food was horrible Had heard this from many passengers that I spoke with The specialty ...

Gorgeous ship, Amazing crew, Delicious food; an Elevated Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity is one of the cruise lines that I enjoy. It is one that tends to have fewer children and a more elevated, sophisticated experience. Silhouette didn't disappoint. The smiles started upon entering the terminal and didn't end until we disembarked. The ship has been refurbished (right before covid hit) and still looks beautiful. We stayed in an Aqua Class cabin that was beautiful and ...

First time on Celebrity. I was with a group of 15. Also first time on a smaller ship. I loved it! Not so crowded. Never had trouble getting a chair around the pool. All of the crew were genuinely interested in my experience. Always smiling, always cleaning. Sure with a smaller ship there are less activities going on, but I did not mind that. Persian Garden spa was a delight. Food was ...

First Time in a Suite

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

We wanted to visit some places we haven't been to on the Mexican Riviera. We usually take a concierge cabin but the price for the S2 Sky Suite was too good to pass up. We could not get our luggage tags ahead of time but didn't worry about it because there was never a problem with any of our east coast cruises. Wrong! We arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled time to find a very long line for ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

User Avatar

We have always thought that Celebrity was a step up from the likes of RCCL and princess. However this was not the case on Equinox in february. The ship is a little tired looking and very dark round the atrium. Our concierge cabin was lovely and clean and has obviously had some new items , sink taps carpet. The shower was still the original with sliding doors which did not run very ...

Millennium mishap

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We chose this cruise to celebrate our anniversary/birthdays. The itinerary ports of call were some of our favorite islands and we had been extremely impressed on our previous Celebrity cruises with the food and service. This was our first return to a ship since the pandemic, so we were very excited to return. We had stayed overnight in San Juan and were able to embark at 12:00. The process was ...
