Actually a relative selected this cruise two years ago but we took her to Israel in April this year and she said that it was too much to go again. So our son and daughter-in-law came instead.
Embark. We booked overnight before the cruise at Hotel Arlecchino which was at the opposite side of the plaza that has many water taxis and buses and the People Mover to the dock. Note we wanted to have ...
Well, we have just returned from our first Celebrity Cruise in 5 years having spent the last 5 on P&O. We were onboard the Celebrity Constellation having done 3 cruises on the Silhouette when she was new. Our cruise was the Adriatic and the Greek Islands Cruise from the 20th August for 10 nights starting from Venice. We had stayed in Venice for 3 nights prior to the cruise and organised all ...
Cabin was small and tacky, similar to a Days Inn. 300+ KIDS everywhere and disruptive - jamming elevators, slamming doors, running down the halls. The ship did little to abate the problem. No adult only areas. Kids in the bars long into the night. Entertainment in show loung was lackluster. Service was terrible. Couldnt get a beverage in the lounges - few servers and they are oblivious. ...
We had chosen celebrity as we were under the Impression they had the best most Morden ships that catered towards adults, and a focus on well being etc
How wrong we where. Its full of children and the ship is so old and run down it was just so naff. You will not get a seat by the pool st any point during your stay and even if you did it will be ruined by screaming children and awful singers and ...
We have been with many other cruise lines but this was our first with Celebrity. We chose the trip because Ireland and Iceland was an unusual combination.
The Southampton embarkation and disembarkation were exceptional; we were in our car going home by 8 am.The ship was excellent and our cabin large and comfortable, although some of the storage was badly designed. Dining in the main restaurant ...
Our previous six cruises were all in the Caribbean and was getting a little old. We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We were very pleased with the cities we visited. The shore excursions were OK but not what we thought, as described by the cruise line. On shore, we were rushed constantly by guides with limited English speaking skills. There was a lot more walking than was described on ...
After almost a month of submitting our reviews/survey, we're still waiting to hear from Celebrity Corporate office about our horrendous experiences during this cruise.
We chose the Baltic, St. Petersburg & Scandinavia cruise as a way to see these countries & we always had an enjoyable experience with Celebrity Cruise line.
The 1st. day started with an extremely FILTHY cabin, a dinner table ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Iceland, the inclusion of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Guernsey were a bonus.
We had recently cruised on the Infinity and experienced a few issues. This cruise was better but there are still a few niggling problems.
We dined in the Grand Cuvee restaurant and also some of the specialist restaurants. The service in Grand Cuvee was fantastic, ...
This was our first cruise with Celebrity, having been recommended by friends who couldn’t praise Celebrity enough, though our choice of Cruise company was more itinerary rather than recommendation to be honest. Obviously they have a lot more money than us as we found the “extras” rather expensive. For example if you wanted internet for the whole trip you had to pay $300; or if you wanted your ...
We have cruised on Celebrity for more than 10 years. The crew is second to none. This time it seemed way more crowded, with a rushed itinerary, and the cruise director was to over the top. His daily announcements were almost 15 minutes long, the on board entertainment was OK most nights, the best was the live music in the smaller lounges. The main dinning room is FANTASTIC.
The cabins and ...
